Awesome hostel! Double bed bunk beds!!!! So nice to sprawl out. :) Clean! Super friendly staff. The staff always ask you what you did that day, but are also very good at helping you with things to do and sights to see in Lisbon (Lisboa). Free breakfast, free packed lunch, and only 1 Euro family dinner. The dinner is great because the hostel donates the money to the local food bank, and it gets everyone together each night. Great way to meet people. Stay here!!!

Hostel is clean, and homey. Walking distance to everything. City has a lot of history. Do the walking tour this hostel offers. Adrien is the best tour guide. He knows so much because he lived it. Nice kitchen to cook in, great place to meet people.

This hostel, is clean and homey. Best breakfast have ever had at a hostel! Hot breakfast that is an English breakfast, vegetarian, or oatmeal and toast. Breakfast cooked fresh for you, then they do the dishes. They also have great cheap communal dinners. Great staff!! They have a great common room with a projector, and tons of movies. Good area of town. I have been traveling for 6 months around Europe, and this is the best hostel in Ireland, and my top 3 out all of Europe.

New Ing Lodge

The New Ing Lodge is wonderful! Scot and Jamie are very helpful. We were planning a hike and Scott took out a map and gave us 6 rout options. He even let us borrow the map, and he gave us a ride to our first spot because he was going into town. The food was great. I really liked that they kept their own chickens in the back. Very clean and warm. On of the best parts was how much they recycled and are so eco friendly. Not even hostels recycle anything, but New Ing Lodge recycles everything!

Belford Hostel

DO NOT stay here in the winter. It is an old church converted into a hostel it was cold. They turn the heat off on May 1st. There is a heater in the TV room though. The staff there all seemed misrable. Accept for one girl names Belinda. She is excellent, very helpful. The other staff were bad to deal with. Needs renovations in all of the bathrooms and showers. Don't stay in room 4, it smells badly of pee. But it is cheap, so you get what you pay for. We did enjoy our stay.
