Hvar Out Hostel

I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this hostel. The stats out of five give you all the boring/real stuff and I can't fault any of them. But the important reason to go to this hostel is it's staff. The most helpful, friendly, caring group of people you will meet on your trip. Who else will massage natural yoghurt into your sun burnt back whilst feeding you crisps and giving a head massage? We booked two nights and ended up staying until our flight home. We love you guys. #thisishowwedoit

We were put in a room where half the mattresses were broken and had a piece of paper with "Private" written on crudely attached to the door. No real security, only one of the lockers in the room worked. Minimal hot water if you don't get first or second shower. Nothing was unclean! (props to the cleaner) just really needs some work doing on the room we were in. If you just need a bed to explore split then great, but bring your anti bed bug sheet. And embrace the strange balcony atmosphere.

Possibly the nicest hostel we stayed at. Beds made for you, towels supplied, shower gel supplied. All the little things that just make life easier when travelling. Was quite expensive but its Amsterdam and can't really expect anything else! Staff were rather unhelpful and even a bit moody to be honest. But you just give back what you get so we made no effort to be friendly either!

Its a pretty special place. Had the best few days on our trip here. Room we were in was pretty grim, 3 tire bunk bed (which is rather had to get into when inebriated) but who cares, you won't be sleeping very much! Best part is the fact that they organise the nightlife, you dont have to stumble around looking for somewhere in a new city, the boat party was incredible, and the foam party was a laugh! Met some really cool people, and I'd love to come back! Most importantly, burgers were incredible

Right by the station, but 10 mins walk to town, but best being that way so don't have to carry bags around too far! Room was okay, beds incredibly ricketty. Shower was nice too, water cut out on me in mid shower, but that was the water company, not the hostels fault! Bar at the back is pretty cool! Beach themed, and cheap beer, so as we didn't really find much going on in town, it was nice to just rest up before the onslaught of Budapest!

Absolutely loved it here. Mainly the people made it, our evening with the irishmen, dutchmen, yorkshire girls and a South African was great. The room wasnt bad, radiator exploded whilst we were out, but yeah, we weren't bothered! Great polish restaurant like two doors down aswell which we went to both nights we were there! Would love to come back time and time again!

Good location, just a bit of a walk from the station! Very average in general, does exactly whats required; a bed to sleep in. Showers were a bit grotty but for the price, it was brilliant!

Great place! Really enjoyed my stay here. Right near the S-Bahn which proved to be the best public transport in the city! Staff were really friendly. Clean rooms, lockers big enough for any rucksack. And everyone seemed to be doing the same sort of interrailing trip so there was plenty of conversation, even if its just passing in the hallways or in the lifts!
