OK place if you're looking for something outside of the Paris CBD (it's only a 10-15 metro train ride away but even longer if you're going as far as the Louvre). Place had a great old France feel to it, but felt cramped. There was only one bathroom on four of the six floors which was annoying. There were toilets on each floor but they were tiny, Anyone over 180cm or 80kg would struggle to fit inside them. No lifts meant it was a pain to get your luggage to the sixth floor. No room lockers.
Great location and privacy curtains and lights were a big plus in the dorms. Kept very clean and liked the access keycards so you didn't have to bother lining up to collect keys. Only downside was they closed the computer room down at midnight and they didn't have a any laundry services.
Was a nice central place and the staff were very friendly and helpful with answering questions. The only negative was half the facilities were out of order (I.e showers, vending machines, computers etc) and they were in the middle of construction near the bar/lounge area. Place looked old, but they kept it reasonably clean. Stayed in an 8-bed mixed which was spacious but no privacy curtains.
