I loved this hostel, although simple it's effective. Always clean, comfortable beds, big showers with plenty of space. the common area is small but allows everyone to mix, could do with a better outdoor area to relax in the sun. But Angie is amazing, she makes the place amazing just from her smile. Me gusta Angie!! :D cinco estrellas!

The hostel itself is ok, ok location although the central fish market is next door so having the windows open anytime of the day is pretty horrible. The beds are comfortable and the room was ok. Kitchen and comunal area are really basic and freezing cold at night, so wasn't really much of a comunal area. the staff were friendly but only speak spanish and very fast spanish. I woudn't go here again, I'd go cosmo hostel instead, amazing place....sorry!

Met some amazing people here which made the stay better, but the hostel is pretty foul. The common room is tiny and crammed at the best of times, everything is disgustingly filthy, the kitchen and the bathrooms. Hot water was a luxury for 2 seconds when it worked. And it's constantly cold, no heating throughout the whole hostal. But cheap and friendly. The woofers were the best part of this hostel.

Staff were friendly and helpful all the time. The room was clean although a little loud being so close to the main street, but nothing ear plugs didn't solve. Huge storage for gear (need padlock) great having an ensuite. Social area is big enough especially the kitchen. Breakfast is basic but dont need anymore than that. and the roof top view is pretty epic. Would stay here again

Great location especially near Poppies 2 and despite being so close you don't hear the noise from the streets, the only noise is the farm animals across the road. The rooster doesn't tend to stop cockadoodle-doing, so if you're looking for a lie in probably take ear plugs. But the general location is great, staff are helpful and breakfast although basic is all you need.

this is a great social hostel and can't recommend it enough based on this! The staff are quirky but very friendly and they encourage you to come out of your rooms and drink the free sangria every night, which is a great way of getting everyone out and chatting. Internet was free which was great! Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, there's lockers and enough space. But the place is a little run down (This is 2% worth of my overall experience as the rest was amazing!) Thanks guys of the happy days!

Hostel Des Artistes

The hostel was fantastically clean, with good storage for bags and clean showers (And multiple showers!! for once) Location is pretty good for Rome, although a bit far from the centre it's good for the metro and the Train station. The only thing I was unsure of was that it wasn't very social, the inside social area is so small that it makes it hard to sit around and relax, and it took me to the last day to find out about the roof top area, which could have been mentioned at check in.
