Room007 Ventura Hostel

Madrid, Spain

Awesome hostel that's the whole package; don't even debate it, STAY HERE! As if 007 isn't wicked enough being brand new, having an great staff and a soon to be open bar/patio/kitchen. They go one step further by hiring on a group of very friendly and multi-talented people to keep you having fun and loving life in Madrid! Harriet, Pablo and crew will keep you entertained and educated with walking tours, evening shows and daily activities then keep you up all night with well organized pub crawls!

St Christopher's Barcelona

Barcelona, Spain

What a great place to stay in Barcelona. Just a block from both the metro and regional, the whole city is at your fingertips; that is if you decide not to just walk down La Rambla or any of the other awesome streets that will take you to the beach or a restaurant within minutes of the hostel. The beds are comfy, showers hot and noise pretty quiet all things considered. Two recommendations: The hot wing challenge at Bulushi's and Teresa Carles restaurant just down jovellanos st both awesome.

MEININGER Brussels City Center

Brussels, Belgium

Great beds, awesome showers, a big, fully stocked kitchen and a bar that serves fresh, cold, cheap Belgian beer all hours of the day; what else could you need in Bruxelles? Staff seemed over worked and like they could care less about the clients, or the hotel sometimes, but as such they are always replaceable. Over all its a great locations and a great place to stay while in Bruxelles.

Vertigo Centre

Marseille, France

The Vertigo HOTEL, (as there is a Vertigo Hostel down by the old port) is a great place to rest your head while visiting Marseille. It's a stones throw from the station, ten mins from the port and located in a cultural neighborhood, so you won't worry about starving on Sunday when the town shuts down! The staff were helpful and friendly, as well as personable and honest. The rooms were big and had nice, detached bathrooms. There is a workable kitchen with plenty of seating and a nice patio out

Hotel Due Giardini

Milan, Italy

This hostel, which is actually a two star hotel, is perfectly located just minutes from the train station and conveniently close too two metro stations. It's got a nice back yard to relax in, the option of breakfast, as well as hot tea and coffee all day long for ones consumption. The rooms are big enough, (I've definitely been in smaller) clean and have a nice shower with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The staff is more then helpful and greatly accommodating! Overall a great place.

B&B Divina

Verona, Italy

First off; Verona is amazing and this is a great place to see it from! Half way between the train station and the river everything is roughly ten minutes away from here. Pros; Clean, newish/trendy, great showers, quiet and hidden away, close to attractions and shopping and breakfast... Sort of! Cons; The guy that works there is an idiot/ignorant as f..., breakfast was stale and prepackaged breads/plastic cheese and the appliances, windows and shutters, heating/air-con and wifi were broken!

Nuova Locanda Belvedere

Venice, Italy

The hotel is a great little spot, just a stones throw from the Venice Mestre rail station. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms; what more can you ask for in Italy?! There are an handful of really delicious restaurants around this hotel that will seem very cheap in comparison to Venice. If you're budget concious and don't mind a small daily walk, this hotel is perfect for your stay in Venice!

M&J Hostel

Rome, Italy

Having worried about the security in Rome, after just having been jacked in Naples, it was not reassuring to hear that the girl in our room had just gotten all her valuables stolen the day we arrived! Then again having no cameras, no lockers, no locks on the doors and no real security check or main pass through point its not really surprising that this place might be an easy target for thieves and criminals. I'd write more of a review, but hostel world won't let me. Verdict, it's ok for...

Palazzo Savona

Palermo, Italy

Comfortable beds, great showers, big rooms with wifi and breakfast; all situated close to the train and a stones throw from most of the town. For the price, we were all pleasantly surprised with the amenities of this place. . However... When checking in, we were told that every morning breakfast was in the common room and was included with the room. Upon checking out we were asked how the breakfast was, then demanded to pay 4€ a head for it, not worth the 36€ for stale brioch and instant coffee

Pension Sun

Krakow, Poland

This place is simple yet charming; what you get is a bed and a shower, but lots of space and private rooms! The building is old, but cool and full of character. The owner is awesome and will help take care of you at all times. It is located between the park and the central train station, the perfect location. Its quiet, yet really central, there are hundreds of cafés and bars and all of old town within a 15 min walk. Just across the main st., in the park is a cafe with a great breakfast!
