Lovely apartment, air con was really good to have as it was very warm when we were there. Alice the owner very friendly and brought us free pizza and a bottle of wine on our arrival as a nice welcome. Right Beside the train station but awkward if you want to come home later than the last train as a taxi back from Venice would be expensive. No wifi but great cooking facilities. Pizza restaurant next door very useful and cheap

This hostel is really basic and not very clean. we had a ladybird nest in our room. Rooms could do with being updated. shower and bathroom facilities were pretty disgusting. The whole building needs doing up. Staff are friendly and very willing to show you where to go and there is a nice outdoor bar area with really lovely food and drinks.

Margareten Hostel

This hostel was pretty average. It wasn't like any other hostel as we felt like we were staying in someones house as there are people who seem to live there permanently. rooms were clean but shower facilities were pretty dark and dirty. not a great location as you had to walk about 5 minutes to the tram and then get another 2 trains into Vienna city centre. Ok to stay for a couple of nights but that was enough.

This hostel was brilliant! Ideal for a group of young backpackers to stay. Atmosphere was great with everyone staying there mixing together. Rooms were spacious & bathroom facilities kept clean. lots of info on places to go & pub crawls etc. Also has its own bar to buy drink if you run out and no complaints about being too noisy etc. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Directions given from wrong train station but signs on the road were a great help. Good location. Fav hostel of our trip.

This hostel was pretty average. Not ideal for a group of young people as the staff were quite strict on noise levels etc. the rooms were clean as were the bathroom facilities. you can only get wifi in the reception area not in the rooms. right beside the train station that gets you to Berlin town.

The Hostel itself was clean enough however the location of the hostel was not in the safest of areas. We were a group of 6 boys and 2 girls and felt that it would not be suitable for a group of girls alone as the walk from the train station back to the hostel could feel unsafe, especially at night! Paris city was a train and metro ride away but was easy to reach when you knew where to go. We made great use of the lidl near by!
