The hostel was all right, comparatively it was the least exceptional of all the hostels we stayed in. There were too few toilet/shower stalls, and the water in the shower only sprayed for 30 seconds each time you turned it on, so it was difficult to wash the soap out of your eyes. The wifi was supposed to be in every room but most people only could access it from the 2nd floor landing, and the computers you pay to use were slow and didn't work well. The staff wasn't really that helpful either

Hi Thankyou for taking the time to give us feedback, it appreciated a lot. Unfortunately we are unable to change the layout of our building so we have to make do with the shower/toilet stalls that we have. I have got maintenance to check the water timer so that the water in showers stays on longer. Please feel free to email us regarding your ideas on how staff could have been more helpful to you, it is always nice to hear guests suggestions Regards The Team at the Inn

This place was great! The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the rooms were really nice. The building has a rooftop bar and restaurant where they serve breakfast every morning, which is super convenient. Also, the location was perfect; a lot of really cool places are on Schönhauser Straße! I'd definitely stay here again

Flying Pig Downtown

Flying Pig is an awesome place to stay. They're right in the thick of Amsterdam, and very close to the Centraal train station. The staff is friendly, helpful, and personable, and the atmosphere is really lively and fun. This hostel is NOT for people who are uninterested in smoking/drinking because it has both a bar and a smoking room (something supposedly not many other hostels have). It's right on one of Amsterdaam's big alley ways, so there's a lot to do nearby
