Beacons Backpackers

Brecon, Wales

My favourite hostel in three months of travel, thanks Rhys and Andy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, a quiz night usually happens on a Wednesday and is fantastic time to meet and mix with the locals.

I wouldn't stay here unless I had a car. Bar wasn't open, had to drive to town for dinner

YHA Bath

Bath, England

It takes a long time to walk back up the hill to the hostel from the town of bath. Car parking is on the side of the road.

YHA Salisbury

Salisbury, England

Fine, would stay again

Porthtowan Backpackers

Cornwall, England

Great town, great beach, wifi worked. Breakfast good. Would stay again.

YHA Golant

Cornwall, England

Off the beaten track, not a party hostel but great if you want somewhere quiet for a few days.

Amsterdam, Netherlands

A hotel, not a hostel, no common room or kitchen. Wifi worked in rooms. They took an authorisation on my credit card without asking and the money hasn't been returned yet 6 days after staying there

St Christophers Prague

Prague, Czech Republic

Very good, party in the bar, rooms quiet. Wifi worked. Breakfast not worth the money.

No real complaints

Wifi good, breakfast good. My phone charger went "missing", my fault I left it on the bed and went out for 3 hours but it seemed funny that an Australian charger would go missing ??? Overall good.

High Street Hostel

Edinburgh, Scotland

Good. Wifi only in reception but was fast. Clean sheets and showers

Glasgow Youth Hostel

Glasgow, Scotland

Richest part of town, 1.3 miles from central train station, pay for wifi but works well. Supermarket 5min walk for food.

Lake District Backpackers

Lake District, England

Very close to train station, wifi works well, breakfast fine, sheets clean. Will stay again.

Astor Museum Inn

London, England

Very good, will stay again, good wifi in rooms, breakfast good, showers clean, sheets clean.

Wifi did not work for my stay, other than that it was ok. More power point in rooms would help too.
