Great place, really friendly staff. Small individual kitchens on each floor meant that there wasn't much mixing of people though.
Love the beds here. They're built into the wall, each with it's own lamp, shelf, power sockets and curtain. Underneath are big lockers also containing power sockets meaning you can leave your electronics to charge without worrying they'll be stolen. The common room is a big and nicely decorated, the kitchen is also nice and big. It did take me 2 days and 4 requests to get a couple of ticket/confirmations printed, and even then they weren't very nice about it and charged me $2.
Standard Motel, decent bed and clean bathroom. 'Nuff said.
Generally good. Our first room was an 8 bed which was cramped, dark and stuffy, subsequent 7 and 4 bed dorms were much nicer though. The lack of onsite laundry facilities is a pretty big omission, we had to go to a laundrette about a mile away.
Great place! More like a B&B than a hostel. It's converted from a couple of houses and has a good sized lounge, as well as a nice kitchen and a dining room. Breakfast included - cereal, toast & tea/coffee/juice. Our private room was large and actually had a bedside table and a wardrobe! 5 mins walk to the harbour.
Pretty decent hostel. The only complaint I have is that our private room smelt damp and musty and we couldn't reach to open the skylight window.
