Panda Guest House

One of the best places on our 2 month trip! Staff is very helpful and kind. We got a massage free after staying there for 3 nights. Owner drove us in his own car when all the tuktuks were on lunch break. Guesthouse is a about 20 min walk from pub street which is good, because it is noisy down there!

Win Backpacker Hostel

Only stayed for a night before moving on to Koh Lanta. Arrived in the night time, staff was waiting for us. It turned out they overbooked us, so they arranged for an upgrade. Can't comment on the budget rooms, but the more expensive rooms are quite nice. Could be a bit cleaner, but at the price it was great.

Pai Circus school gives you a decent place to stay for relatively little money (if you stay in the bamboo huts at least). The huts are very simple, basically only for sleeping and changing clothes. The toilets could be better, there are old cobwebs , which should be removed by staff. The toilets are manual flush, FYI. At night the place is very cozy, people gather outside for beer, a smoke, and a chat. Very nice atmosphere. The restaurant is also quite nice.

Kikies House

Chiang Mai, Thailand

We loved stayin at kikies. And really got good help on booking bus to Pai, thai boxing and elephant riding. And got really good details on what to do and see in Chiang Mai. Downsides: 1. Kikies house, is two houses very close. The first one maybe has security, but the second one doesn´t. We didn´t meet any. 2. There is no place to sit and mingle with the rest of the guests in the second house. Don´t know about the first house.

We had a very nice stay at this hostel! The only drawback is the internet connection, which doesn't work in all the rooms. And water in the shower was lukewarm.

Everything was fantastic except the internet connection, which only works outside, and is unstable.

Hostel New King

New Delhi, India

New King Hostel are affiliated with a fake local tourist agency, and they are running a scam. We needed just a little help to be on our way in India, and the manager of the hostel lied heavily about trains and tourist offices, sent us to a scam office, and was otherwise very insistent that we use that particular tourist office. Even when we checked out and moved on without buying from them, he insisted we use that office "for our safety." Worst place I've ever stayed.
