Perfect Hostel

Paris, France

this place is far from perfect! the rooms are dark and run down and beds uncomfortable. the whole hostel looks like it's about to fall down and hasn't been cleaned for years. there was only two toilets and showers per floor, the showers were so small and you could bearly move in them. This place is way over priced and one of the worst hostels I've stayed in. We would have found alternate accommodation however we were there for a long weekend and there was nothing else available. avoid this place

a great modern hostel. rooms were clean with good features such as personal lights and power points and ensuites for each room. breakfast cost extra though wasn't the best spread. each bed as a large storage drawer that is lockable however ours didn't work properly. the location is reasonably close to the metro and about 10-20min from the city centre. We would stay in this chain again.

Adam&Eva Hostel

Prague, Czech Republic

a nice place, though it was missing a few things. for example there was not enough power points in the room. There was also only 2 showers on our floor, one of which in a converted cupboard and was a tight squeeze. The lockers were very small. The staff were helpful however, and everything was clean and reasonably modern. They had a good kitchen though we didn't need to use it.

Dresden, Germany

it was an interesting hotel, very modern though I've never stayed in a hotel (not a hostel) with shared bathroom facilities. However everything was clean and well maintained and new. Breakfast was included and was really nice. The rooms are a bit small but overall great value for money. The location is about a 5 min walk from the city centre and 10min from the train station

Wombats City Hostel Berlin

Berlin, Germany

we loved it here. A well thought-out hostel such as personal lights/powerpoints at each bed. the rooms are a good size and the ensuite bathroom was always clean. the breakfast spread looked good though cost extra. we had great room mates which really helped. we'd definitely stay in this chain again.

Nissos Ios Hotel

Ios, Greece

A basic hotel but we just loved our stay. the location is brilliant - right on the beach - and the owner was so nice to us and included free transfers to the ferry. It's not in the main part of town but we loved that as we wanted to be away from the partying. The accommodation was very clean, though the shower was a bit weird with not much pressure. We'd stay here agin if ever returning to Ios

Pension Stella

Santorini, Greece

a basic, but lovely place to stay. We enjoyed just chilling by the pool and it was very clean. Stella was just lovely and very accommodating. unfortunately she has double booked our last night and we had to be moved to the place her sister-in-law managed. That was also nice, and although Stella was very apologetic we were a little disappointed as we really liked it at her place.

Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Crowded House

Eceabat, Turkey

Our room(307) had a terrible case of mould. The bathroom stankand it covers the ceiling over a large portion of the room. It sealed havoc with my allergies and I'm still getting over the sickness it caused over a week later. Painting over it will not get rid of it! Clean it with vinegar.

Second Home Hostel

Great atmosphere and extremely helpful and friendly staff, especially Omar. However our room smelt musty and the mould in the shower was concerning.
