Good, clean hostel with very helpful staff who helped organise our trip to Igauzu. Breakfast was limited but what you expect for the price. Rooms were spacious and clean and the pool was a great place to relax after a day at the falls.
We had booked to stay at Casa Club Hostel. However, on arrival we were told that the hostel had decided not to open for the season and we were directed to a near by hostel. We had not been informed of such a closure, nor given any prior notice of the new hostel we were due to stay in.
The staff at the hostel were very friendly and gave us some good advice on things to do in Paraty and getting to Sao Paulo (our next destination after Paraty). The rooms were spacious (we had a 6 man dorm) and what you would expect from a hostel. Good atmosphere in the social area - hamocks were great for relaxing in. Lockers were available but you had to bring your own pad lock which we didn't have and weren't aware at the time of booking.
