The Ostello Bello is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. It's already been my second stay there and would definitively go back again. The staff is great, really friendly and they even remembered me. This hostel is a great place to meet other people and it is located very well. The main attractions in Milan are within walking distance from the Ostello.
Quite a nice hostel and quite big as well. I didn't expect it to be that big; it's got two buildings, one with a rooftop terrace from where you've got a great view. PLUS Florence also boasts three bars, a swimming pool (which wasn't perfectly clean and the shower there didn't work), a sauna, a gym and a restaurant. My room (4 bed dorm) was very nice, quite big and clean, with air conditioning, ensuite bathroom, and even a TV and a balcony.
Quite a good hostel but also expensive. It's very well located, near the beach and the old town. In the morning there's a free walking tour that ends with a picnic in a park. Was the funniest walking tour I've ever been to. The guide also gives tourist information at breakfast, which is very helpful.
Smallest hostel I've stayed at, three dorms and only one toilet for everyone. But the ensuite bathroom was quite big and nice and there are additional showers as well. The hostel is centrally located, just a five minutes walk from the "Vieux Port" and the metrostation. The staff was friendly and in the evening we all had dinner together in the living room, which was very nice. Family like atmosphere.
All in all a good hostel. The interior seems impersonal and rather unaesthetic, though. And there's no place where you can put your clothes in the shower. Apart from that the dorms and bathrooms were okay; they have air conditioning, lockers and we got a nice dresser on the last day. At the hostel's bar you can get very cheap drinks.
This is a beautifully decorated little hostel which is located very well and it's got a rooftop terrace from where you've got an amazing view over the city. The all girls room was big and comfortable, but the showers are way too small.
This is a lovely hostel with beautiful interior where you really feel at home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In the evening you can get a three course meal (for €10.00; beer and sangria are included as well) cooked by the mother of the hostel's owner (she's just lovely!). The atmoshere at dinner time is always great and it's a good way to make some new friends.
This is a cool hostel which is located very well. For my taste it's a bit too big and the ensuite bathrooms are far too small, but all in all it's quite a good hostel.
