Would have been a great hostel but there was a ton of construction going on when I was there, showers were periodically not working and the common area was under heavy construction
Great hostel, cheap, good location and vibe. Very easy to meet other travelers if you're traveling solo. Only downside is they close off the common area and kitchen around 11 or 12 every night.
Good environment, cool events, could not ask for a better location. The roof terrace was an awesome place to hang for an afternoon siesta
No complaints. Good atmosphere, good people, good location, not expensive. Definitely recommend
I loved the area this was in. A decent way away form the main tourist attractions and areas, but it felt very local and there were so many great cafes and bistros around. For how expensive Paris is, especially in the summer, this felt like a great deal for what I spent.
Considering what I heard about hostels in Amsterdam before visiting, I was pleasantly surprised this place wasn't terrible. Not tons of space in my 6 person room, but it wasn't the worst I've seen. Great location, generally nice and helpful staff. My biggest complaint was the lack of any type of common room outside the tiny couch next to reception. As a solo traveler, it just made it harder to meet and mingle with people
Lots of the hostel was undergoing renovations when I stayed there but still, the rooms are tiny and there's definitely a lack of shower/bathrooms for each floor. I'd imagine this would change once renovations are completed. Staff was somewhat helpful but not the nicest group, not a ton of mingling going on in the common room
Stayed for just one night, really enjoyed the atmosphere in the common room. Met some cool people and near a really nice area, about a 15-20 minute walk from the central train station
