Don't stay here if you're looking for a typical hostel environment - there's no real atmosphere. Breakfast was sufficient and working was stable and fast, but only available in the common room.
Wi-Fi was slow and patchy. Air conditioning should be on more often and guests shouldn't have to constantly ask for it to be turned on. Breakfast was good and cleaners were great.
Hostel is really nice and would recommend to stay here. Beds are great and there are even stairs to every top bunk! Wi-Fi was quite erratic - it was very slow, and then worked normally at other times. Santa Marta is very hot, and air conditioning was great, but the only thing to note is that it is only turned on after 8pm and turned off every morning at 7am on the dot.
Wi-Fi was slow, but worked. Breakfast was great - eggs and an arepa with juice and coffee. Third-floor dorm room was the best - had the terrace and tv and another bathroom which felt like it was your own home. The staff were friendly. The only negative was the cleaners/breakfast staff who were very rude, despite always being greeted pleasantly and politely. It was as if the whole world was coming down when they were asked for more toilet paper, which they hadn't refilled.
Wi-Fi was extremely slow and barely functioning. Good hostel with a good breakfast included.
Mohamed and the staff were all excellent help during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hostel for its location and value for money. Only a few minutes from the Egyptian museum.
The staff were excellent and the hostel is centrally located.
The hostel is really hot. I recommend the six-bed dorm because it has air conditioning (10pm-10am). Good kitchen and nice rooftop.
Breakfast was great and Leo was terrific, but the wifi was constantly being reset and wouldn't stay connected for very long.
The atmosphere and staff were amazing! Kitchen and facilities were great and made my stay very enjoyable.
