Such an endearing hostel! The owner (I think) a british man with the most adorable little girl was so nice and accomodating, and the child was ridiculously cute. Such a homely vibe, definitely not a party hostel, but a place where you can enjoy a tea and talk to other travellers over a beer or two. It was so nicely decorated, with vibrant colours. My floor only had two dorm rooms with a communal space, a kitchen area, and a toilet/shower, so it was very nice and cosy. Also, great location!
Such a unique and interesting hostel, full of character and 'characters'. Sadly I was only there for a night, I would have liked to stay in Dresden just to spend more time at Lollis and the people there! It's a place where you find yourself debating American politics with an older Serbian couple, a Chinese expat, and an exasperated American exchange student at 2am in the morning, while playing chess with an Austrian? chess maester. Such fun. Great place to kick back. Oh, and the room decoration
Best hostel I've been to so far. Great atmostphere, nice, colourful rooms, good showers, a place to just hang out near the lobby, an outside terrace to smoke and chill, free dinners (if you're on time) and a bar downstairs. Central location in the mitte area, really easy to meet people to just hang out or party with if you're travelling by yourself, and the staff are knowledgable and friendly.
Basically a hotel in hostel form. Impeccable cleanliness, and, if you value your showers, seriously nice ensuites to the dorms. It being such a classy, well kept, sophisticated 'hostel', I felt seriously indulgent. Great location across from the Museum quarter, so so so convinient if you enjoy living out of museums such as I do. Easy 15 min walk to the city. What it lacks is a true 'backpackers' vibe; DEFINITELY NOT a party hostel, it doesn't really have a communal space to meet and hang out
Very fun and friendly hostel, with an inclusive, relaxed, and backpacker´s vibe. The staff were helpful and nice, the location is five minutes away from the Markt square, and it seems the hostels in Bruges (such as Snuffle and Bauhaus) tend to band together and organize events/ beer tastings, walking tours, pub crawls together, and Bruges being such a small city, it seems like you're meeting all the back packers in Bruges! The rooms are clean and basic, the showers are adequate, overall, good!
