Home Lisbon Hostel

The best hostel I have ever stayed at and this is number 43 of my trip! Feels like a hotel, amazing facilities, every little detail anyone wants or needs has been catered for! Incredible staff, perfect location, big rooms, modern, pristine bathrooms, brilliant food! Absolutely nothing I could fault! This is the only place to stay! They go the extra mile and nothing is a problem! If only more hostels were like this one!

Small hostel, really social which was cool! Rooms are ok, bit cramped and tiny lockers. Bathrooms are decent and kept clean. Good location.

Casa d'Alagoa

Faro, Portugal

An ok hostel, decent common areas, friendly staff, clean and the dinners are good. Rooms were very small, no lockers either. A shame as the hostel is fine but Faro is not worth visiting and therefor the cost of the hostel is to much for what you get. I would probably stay at this hostel again as long as it wasn't in Faro.

Ok hostel, bit tired but everything you need. Rooms were ok, small lockers and bathrooms were clean. Alright kitchen and facilities and nice roof top terrace. Staff were great, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Price was fair compared to other hostels I've been too.

Really great hostel with big clean rooms, modern bathrooms, good wifi, more than adequate shared kitchen free tea, coffee etc. Well located, and great courtyard which was perfect for mixing with other travellers. Hostel offers plenty of activities as well. One of the nicest hostels I have stayed in, would definitely recommend it. Only downside was lack of local workers or people who know the area very well.

Decent hostel, really enjoyed my stay. Rooms are a good size, bathroom clean and well maintained. Was really social and located right in the heart of Madrid. Would stay here again, wasn't amazing but wasn't bad at all either.

St Christopher's Barcelona

Facilities are great, large rooms, fantastic sized lockers, good beds with individual curtains, power points and lamps! Good security although key cards stopped working multiple times! Bathrooms are kept very clean! Place is massive, so lots of people but not that social as lots keep to themselves. Breakfast is ok, quite basic. Awesome location but staff are average. Not friendly or welcoming primarily due to dealing with so many guests. Reasonably priced, would stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic hostel, one of the best I've ever been too. Great staff, good facilities which are always spotless, incredibly social. Well located and free breakfasts and dinners are a real bonus. This would be the only place I would consider staying when in krakow.

Ok but could be really good. Had a great time here, very social, awesome staff, nice location and decent sized rooms. Dorm was poorly laid out and lockers are too small for bags. Bathrooms were upstairs but were clean. Kitchen was tiny.

Had a good stay here. Large room, clean and comfortable. Shared bathrooms were well maintained and cleaned regularly. Breakfast included was sufficient and location was good as only a 5min walk from town centre and main bus/train station.

Located 4km from Old Town which is great for getting a local feel away from the tourist trap. Welcomed wonderfully on arrival with coffee, fruit and lots of local tips of where to go, drink, eat etc. Nice room, clean, decent sized balcony overlooking the harbour. Situated on main bus route to town and bus station. Price was fair and really enjoyed our stay. Would look to stay here again next time in Dubrovnik.

Really good hostel. Big rooms, each bed with power plug and light. Bathrooms were spotless and modern. Very secure. Had to continuously log into the wifi which was annoying but lots of computers available in common area. Decent location, very close to sky train. Would definitely stay here again. It's away from the immediate backpacker area but only a short, cheap taxi away.

Fantastic hostel. Had our own private room which was fine, good size and ensuite. A little dated but clean and good value for money. The staff were fantastic at helping and arranging tours and onward transport. Pleasure to deal with. Location is good, close to the beach, good restaurants and shops.
