Wada Hostel in Guilin

Guilin, China

The staff spoke fantastic English and were more then happy to help out with any enquiries we had. They helped by writing addresses and short statements in Chinese to aide us in our travels. They also purchased our train tickets for the next place. The bar had a friendly, relaxed feel to it and there we tours available from the desk. There is a shopping centre and take away places across the road and Wada is a short walk from the train station. Room was clean simple and had multi-national plugs.

A separate common room not in the bar would be good. You felt compelled to purchase drinks if you were in there. It was difficult to figure out where it was, as we arrived at 1am, and were directed down a dark alley. Once located it was a prime position. The staff were so helpful and book all manner of things for us, train tickets and tours.
