A Little Bird 2 Guest House

The staff were excellent, extremely accomadating and helpful. Location isn't right in the middle of things but arguably at a more comfortable distance with tuc-tucs into the main downtown area are cheap. Beds were rather uncomfortable - but the showers were good, as was the general cleanliness and the rooftop area and reception were nice spaces to relax. Generally a comfortable and clean hostel, which felt like it had space and was breezy as opposed to stuffier dirtier hostels for a little less.

Staff were helpful, and the hostel was in itself actually really nice. Curtains could be drawn across your beds for that extra level of privacy which was refreshing. My only qualm was location - down a smelly side street in a less than desirable area of Bangkok. However, my friends had much less problem with the location so maybe that's a personal issue. Overall a good hostel.

Not on the livelier 'sairee' beach but very near the pier - ideal for one night stop overs. Showers weren't hot enough, taking a while to heat up at which point you've likely already got in amongst it. However, on the whole a positive experience - mainly due to the friendly and extremely helpful staff.

Great aesthetic and a good enough common area to meet people. The staff were very helpful, ordering us a mcdonalds (as they deliver) and when we wanted to leave early allowed us to move our outstanding nights to the end of our trip instead at no extra cost and managed it all for us.
