Outstanding staff. The receptionist was very helpful. There are also good common areas, conducive to meeting people. Location is excellent: very close to the train station. My main complaint is that the WiFi was weak and kept dropping out (the "no Internet available" exclamation mark icon was a common sight on my phone).

Hotel Happy Rimini, Rimini, Italy

31st May 2017

This is a small hotel, not a hostel. The receptionist was very cheerful and helpful, the room was roomy and comfortable, the WiFi was strong and reliable, the breakfasts (included) were real hotel breakfasts with bacon, eggs, etc., and much more. It's close to the beach, and it took 16 minutes to walk there from the train station, part of the walk being through a pleasant park. The shower was a little cramped and water ended up on the bathroom floor though, and the toilet ran.

Youthhostel Schaan-Vaduz, Schaan, Liechtenstein

30th May 2017

Plusses: Beautiful location on edge of town, adjacent to farmland. A pleasant 40 minute walk from Buchs SG train station, and a half hour walk to downtown Vaduz. The receptionist is a gracious man who went out of his way to help me and accommodate my needs. Clean dorms, showers and restrooms. Minuses: WiFi rather spotty, especially in rooms, and even in dining room; strongest in room downstairs from reception desk. Note: pricey for a hostel, but worth it. It is Liechtenstein, after all.

Plusses: Great location close to the old town square. Strong, reliable WiFi. Graciously helpful staff. Clean, with towels supplied. Minuses: none I can think of. Note: On second floor When I checked out in the morning, nobody seemed to be around, so I left the key on the desk with a thank you note.

26th May 2017

Plusses: Great central location in a lively area of the city, within walking distance to many attractions, as well as Keleti Train Station. Though it's in a party area with lots of bars, the hostel is soundproofed as long as the windows and doors are closed. Clean. Free breakfast (which I did not try since I had to leave early).24 hour reception. Helpful staff. Minuses: Weak, spotty WiFi. No laundry facilities. Note: You have to enter a restaurant to get to the hostel. Attracts younger partiers.

Downtown Forest Hostel & Camping, Vilnius, Lithuania
8.9
18th May 2017

Plusses: Nice forested location close to the Old City, Republic of Uzupis and the Open Kitchen market (open Fridays). Lots of good beer choices available. Strong, reliable WiFi. Great laundry and kitchen facilities. Camping and barbecues are allowed here. Great staff, if a little busy because of all the guests. Minuses: a little bit of a trek from the bus station: it took me 35 minutes each way, part of which was hilly.

Plusses: Great prices, strong Wifi, clean rooms and shower facilities. Exvellent free maps available. Minuses: a little out of the way, but not unmanageable (15 minute walking distance of Old City and 20 to bus station). Wasn't sure how to get in when I arrived; had to email staff to let them know I was at the door. They responded quickly though (maybe they saw me on a security camera?).

7th Sep 2016

Plusses: Free pancake breakfasts! Helpful staff, lockers in dorms, hot showers, great garden to hang out in, within walking distance of downtown, supermarket, bars and restaurants nearby Minuses: a car with a horn kept honking on and off all day on a property behind the hostel. Thankfully it didn't happen at night. Hostel is a little far from the bus stations, but some of them can be walked if you wish (not recommended at night, though).

We have read your review and think it must be a mistake since we do not have a pancake breakfast and are just one block from the bus station. We realize that when you are traveling and staying in several places it can be confusing when you receive several requests from HostelWorld to review multiple hostels. We can only assume you enjoyed your stay with us since you came back and stayed another 2 days. Good luck and enjoy your trip!

Plusses: Fantastic views of surrounding countryside, swimming pool, free welcome beer, relaxed atmosphere, great food, free shuttle from center of town, strong Internet connection. Minuses: Quite far from town (but there is a shuttle that runs once every two hours). Remarks: Caters mainly to a younger party crowd, but can be blissfully quiet in the off season.

Very close to Nana BTS station, numerous bus lines on Sukhumvit Rd., and the Khlong Boat, for easy access to anywhere in the city. Nearby neighborhood is a party area, but the hostel is quiet. Great common area for meeting people. Good Wi-Fi in the common area. Eclectic decor. Nice rooms. Negatives: no Wi-Fi in the rooms, and the corridors are a little too dark, so I had to struggle to see well enough to unlock my room door.

Advantages: great location in Causeway Bay, close to MTR. Great security with key cards and lockers. Friendly, helpful staff. Great common area. Free Wifi. None of the Chungking Mansions sleaziness. Air-conditioned dorms. Suitable for people of all ages: I met people freshly out of college and some in their 60s and 70s. Disadvantages: Wifi only in common area/reception area. Common area is not air conditioned and can get quite muggy in the hot weather; there are fans, though.

Plusses: Location. Right outside the main old city gate, close to bus stops and supermarkets , it cant get any better than this. Very helpful, informative staff. Marko is a friendly, stand-up guy who won't steer you wrong. Strong WiFi in the dorm behind reception where we stayed. Comfortable dorm beds, plus clean facilities. Minuses: expensive for a hostel. Despite other reviews saying there was breakfast, we saw no sign of it. Lockers too small for bags, but secure for valuables.
