One of the best hostels I've stayed at in Europe. Great location (near two metro stops, easy access to trams, etc.), nice facilities, and super clean. But the staff really sets this place apart. They foster the "family" atmosphere, which is great for a solo traveler. Since it's a smaller hostel, you really get a chance to meet the other guests. The hostel organizes something every night--dinner, pubs, etc. so you can really experience Budapest. Their restaurant recommendations are amazing too!
Great location--right between the Old Town and Kazimierz. Maybe I was there during an off time (there didn't seem to be a lot of other guests), but I found the atmosphere kind of quiet.
Nice rooms and friendly staff. Activities planned every night of the week. It's located between Taksim and Old Town so you can walk to either area.
Apparently some of the rooms don't have a/c (mine didn't). Not fun when it's above 100F/37+C outside. Literally had to hold my breath in the bathrooms to avoid the stench. Wifi didn't work in the room. I had to leave early because I just couldn't stay there longer.
