The hostel was very clean and staff was friendly. They arranged a cool 3-day-trip outside Ulan Bator and let us borrow their sleeping bags during our trip. The common areas were spacious and cozy. The hostel kitchen was spacious and clean for cooking your own meals. The two-person-room where we stayed was big enough.
Staff in the hostel was really friendly and helpful. They gave good advice how to get to Mongolia and cross the border on your own. We felt welcome when arrived in the hostel. Atmosphere was relaxed and it felt like home there:)
We had some difficulties to communicate - only few staff members spoke English. The staff members were sometimes impolite. The air in the cottage was pretty bad - when we woke up in the morning our eyes were red and swollen. The temperature in the room was too low. The "shared bathroom" consisted of a wooden walls and a hole in the ground inside. We got warm water in the shower. Internet connection was poor and it was quite hard to sleep while there was construction work going on at night
