Victor was really helpful. It's a great hostel to meet people if travelling alone as has a great communal area. Rooms are spotless and there are plenty of toilets and showers. Facilities were cleaned well every day. Great bar also and I noticed people came from other hostels to stay there too. You can buy booze across the road and drink it in the communal area aswell. Overall very impressed
This hostel is full of Brazilians on holidays in groups and so if your on your own and don't speak Portuguese your alone as they will not make an effort. Thankfully I was with a friend but just pointing out to lone travellers. Also I didn't think the staff were very helpful. They answered the basis questions. On plus side though the breakfast was great and handy having big lockers in rooms. Would be good if staff organised pub crawls to get the people to interact more
I had gotten a flight from buenos aires and the airline lost my bag. I was leaving the next day for rio so needed it quickly. The girl who speaks really good English(sorry can't remember name) was so helpful. She contacted the airline and arranged for my bag to arrive in time while I went to the igazu falls and when I returned it had all been sorted as she was able to speak Spanish to the airline. Thanks so much for helping out. Hostel had plenty of facilities and a great breakfast.
Great location for seeing the sights. Wendy who works in the mornings was so helpful with organising tours etc. genuinely helpful person. Great breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and eggs every morning and it's very plentiful. Great rooftop garden and communal tv rooms with DVDs. Overall very impressed and would stay here again. Only negative is the noise from the street but it's bearable
