Good location near the centre of Barranco (which I think is much nicer than Miraflores) and close to restaurants and bars. Facilities and rooms are basic. The staff take people out on weekend nights, but the atmosphere could feel a bit dead at times. Most of the staff seemed to be just working there for a couple of weeks or a month or two, and weren't too interested in accommodating other guests
Great atmosphere, so easy to meet people, the staff help you out with any tour you're looking for. Beds, showers and toilets are decent. But if you don't like noise at night, this isn't your place
Great hostel to meet other travellers. Probably not a great choice for those doing the Colca Canyon trip at 2.30am the next morning. There's always stuff going on at the bar til the early hours, and I got woken up to take shots a few times before my trek. I wasn't really bothered, but I wouldn't recommend staying here if you would be. Hostel is secure from the streets outside, Arequipa can be a little dodgy late at night
Right in the centre of Miraflores. Open spaces to chill out upstairs and a bar made it easy to meet people. Had some games happening the night I was there and there was a good atmosphere. Staff were keen to get everyone involved and were willing to help you out with whatever information you needed. Rooms were pretty standard, showers could be a bit dodgy though
Very close to Victoria coach and metro stations and not far from Oxford Street and Buckingham Palace. Included breakfast is pretty decent. Doesn't have a real social (party) atmosphere but staff were always helpful in giving information on sightseeing. Wi-fi didn't work in the rooms though so common areas could get pretty crowded. Good value for money, ideal place if you're in London for just a couple of days and want to be close to transport but not necessarily there to party.
Hostel is very basic. I stayed in the dorm on the top floor and the room was very cramped, was more of an attic than a room. Kitchen has only room enough for 1 person to cook. Definitely not a place to stay if you're looking for a social atmosphere, more of a stopover if you needed a place for 1 night in Dubrovnik.
Great place to stay! The staff here are fantastic, George and Yannis go out of their way to do everything they can for you and make you feel at home. Location is barely a couple minutes walk from all the main bars, restaurants and bus stop. We left a phone in the hostel after checking out and they sent it over to santorini on the next ferry without us even contacting them. Great value for money, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good time in Ios!
I stayed here very soon after it opened. It has the potential to be a great hostel once the kitchen and common area are finished. The rooms are very spacious, but the beds wobble each time you move and need to be bolted to the walls. There is no air-con and it gets very hot in the rooms. The staff are very energetic and always willing to help you out. However, the hostel is situated in a pretty shady part of town and we definitely did not feel safe venturing out at night.
Nice quiet hostel, has all the qualities of the other sant jordi hostels but is better if you're looking for a quieter place to stay in a less touristy part of Barcelona. Rooms are spacious and very clean and the hostel has a cool rooftop terrace to chill out.
Great location right in the centre of Edinburgh's Old Town just off High Street. Close to all the bars, staff were helpful with info on all the things to do around town and hostel has a good cooked breakfast. There was a big school group when I stayed there though, and they tended to occupy all the room and facilities around mealtimes.
