Green Nest Hostel Uba Aterpetxea, San Sebastian, Spain

This hostel is located in a very beautiful area. However, it took about 20 minutes via Metro to get to the beach/city centre (including the walk to the Metro). The atmosphere was simple and sterile. This place does not have a lot of character and there is minimal opportunity to get to know fellow travelers. Also, the Metro in San Sebastián stops running at 11:00 pm and the busses stop even earlier, so you have to take a cab which is approx 11 Euros from beach to hostel.

We only spent one night here, but I got a really good vibe from this hostel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and it was substantial. Also, it's really close to the train station.

Amazing hostel! This is by far the best one I have ever stayed at! There is a restaurant/bar that is very cheap (cost wise!) and welcoming! The setup and comfort level is such that you are bound to meet some amazing fellow travelers! The atmosphere is gorgeous and the hostel is only about a 10 minute walk to the Metro station. My experience at this hostel was my overall favorite memory of Barcelona! Also, I love that it is a non- profit that provides work experience for those with special needs!

Great location, a couple blocks away from the Metro. We felt safe, even when walking home late at night. The wifi was only available in the lobby, but considering the great price, it was totally worth it! Also, there is a grocery store and post office right around the corner!

Great value for money and in a safe area. 10 minute walk from the Tube station. The only complaint I have was that there were too few bathrooms for the amount of people at the hostel.
