The best location ever, only 1 minute from Daan MRT station. It's not really cozy atmosphere with a small common room.

Great location in the Old Town. The staff are willing to pick you up at where you get off the taxi. Wonderful English breakfast with a cup of Yunnan coffee. The dorm is not really dorm-like, which is more like a double twin room for 4 people. A huge locker for everyone and bathrooms where you can have a super hot shower. A trip to the Tiger Leaping Gorge organised by the hostel is a great choice.

I arrived the hostel very late at midnight and couldn't really find a way. I called them and one of the staff just came out for picking me up with a bit of worry and it was a very relief. Also they upgraded my dorm to the private twin room for some reasons, which was fantastic. Good English speaking staff is there who is willing to help you out in time. Not for partiers, it is just a very quiet place with no music. You can have a good time at the dinner table with other travellers, though.

Just across the park nearby, which is in a great location. I feel like the staff are not really kind to Asian travellers but to Westerners. Although I can speak English but i just try to communicate with them in Chinese, which is still basic level, however i just feel a bit down on that because they were totally different from when they spoke English. Apart from the staff there, food from the bar was excellent and it has a nice and comfy common room.

Supposedly the only hostel you can find in Turpan. Very well-located in the city centre and Very hostel-like atmosphere. The hostel owners, a Chinese husband and a wife, are the kindest people in Turpan and very willing to help guests. No door locks but quite secure(?), actually, all the rooms are watchable from the counter and lobby where the owners and guests walking around all the time.

I arrived at the hostel very late resulted from the delay of the flight. The staff was very reluctantly checked me in in a very lazy way. The room was all messed around aparting from the Chinese backpackers. The lounge atmosphere was absolutely serious, where everyone (mostly Chinese) didn't even say hello to each other. No supermarket nearby. No English-speaking staff.

Only 5~10 mins from the park entrance, which is in a great location. Not really a getting-together atmosphere. Dorms are located in the roof top (it's not really what you think as a root top, though) They organise a day tip to Huanglong if you are at least a group of 4 people. The staff are nice enough to help you in English.

I live in Chengdu and just dropped by this hostel to have fun for a night. Staff was kind and passionate (whereas the cat lying on the desk was asleep). The building itself is really old but timeless, feels really comfy. 4 mixed dorm is rather small but fully air-conditioned. The shared showroom was a bit of a turnoff. Other than that, i really enjoyed this hostel!

The location is excellent and the staffs are fluent with English and very helpful. Everyday Evening Free Activities (Dumpling Party, Game Night, Sauna Night etc) are impressive and worthy. A variety of tours organised by the hostel are reasonably priced and help you not to waste your time and schedules. Breakfasts are rather disappointing, however, better give a try local noodles nearby that only cost 6~10 Yuan. My favourite is the roof top garden where you can be a couch potato.
