Good hotel with nice and friendly staff. Not many facilities other than the computer in the reception area...no cafe or food available and no common/social area but I enjoyed my stay there in general. The room was good - nice comfy bed, air con and fan, tv, fridge, great hot shower...I'd definitely recommend it as a good place to go if you want your own room for a good price :).

Hop Yen Hotel

One of the few places in Hoi An that I could find with a dorm room so I was pretty pleased all round...Cheap, cool dorm with comfy beds and met loads of quality people there. Although breakfast wasn't included it was SERIOUSLY cheap and really good as well. I'd definitely recommend this place to any backpackers :).

Awesome hostel run by the coolest woman ever..she was so cool, nice, friendly and helpful. Add to that the free breakfast and 8-9pm FREE BEER hour, and all for £4 or so per night. Ridiculously good place to.stay!!

Kikie is a legend...she is literally your mum in Chiang Mai and makes you feel so at home and welcome! The hostel's in a pretty good place close to all the touristy stuff too so no complaints there! The rooms were cleaned and beds made every day without fail...great staff and good service all round :)

Great hostel with awesome staff! I booked into a 4 bed dorm but they were full when I arrived, so I got a twin room with nobody in the other bed all week while I was there - private ensuite for under £4 per night = a steal!! Located a bit out of town, but bikes are available delivered to the hostel for $1 for the full day, so can't complain all that much! Staff are really helpful with sorting out your questions, issues and needs etc too :)

The hostel has a great atmosphere - the downstairs chilling area is really comfortable, homely and is a great place to meet people. My single room was basic but had everything everything I needed - A/C worked, the fridge was super cold (good for chilling water!), shower was hot...what more can you ask for? Additionally the location is pretty good..the whole backpacker area in HCMC is squeezed into a pretty small area so all the tourist amenities are close by.
