Great place to stay. Nice walk to the beaches and into town. Pick up service from the port. Organised pub crawls for free and a kitchen. Beautiful hostel too with a big common area on the balcony. Helpful staff.

Villa Banana

Villa Banana was great to stay in but like most places in Dubrovnik, access to the city is up a BIG hill. So long as you organise the free pick up service for when you arrive with luggage it should be fine. They have a kitchen with the private rooms which was great.

As all the other comments will tell you, TOMI IS AMAZING. The location is fantastic. The amenities are great. It's a great place to meet people, we had a bbq on the beach :) It's a home away from home. Thanks so much Tomi!

The hostel had a kitchen which is always a money saver. There was a nice little terrace and the computer was free to use. It was a fairly basic hostel but great value for money and a good place to meet people. Although all of Athens is a little bit dangerous these days, we did see people snorting coke on multiple occasions in broad daylight metres from the hostel. It is a quick walk to the metro or you can walk to the main sites. Just catch a cab if you're getting there late at night.

We stayed in a private room and it was fantastic. There was a lovely private pool, the room was great with an ensure, fridge and lovely balcony. The beach was also a short walk away to see the black sand. Also there are lots of buses to Fira, the town centre. I highly recommend the private rooms owned by Michaelis. He and the rest of the staff were very helpful.

Paraga Beach Hostel

Paraga beach is AWESOME! I high recommend it. It has a great party atmosphere, DJs playing most nights, swimming pools and the beach right there. You can't have refrigerated food or access to a microwave which was a downside but the food there is reasonably priced. It feels like a resort and the tent beds were pretty cool too.

This place had organised club nights, a complete kitchen, big lockers in each room and a common area which made it easy to meet people. Also access to a swimming pool up the road if you want. We walked to the beach but in the middle of July I'd recommend a bus next time!
