Facilities were good. Lots of showers, well equipped kitchen, and nice pool. We stayed in the 18 bed dorm and it was a bit warm but still good. Staff aren't very helpful if you're trying to book tours or anything. Also we thought the place was 18+ but during our stay the pool got overrun by children. None had bracelets so I guess they open the pool to the public? The tiny humans were screaming and running everywhere. Not really relaxing..

Lady that checked us in was lovely and the single rooms were comfortable. Hostel is right on the beach. Atmosphere was weird though. There's only one place to sit if it's raining as the rest of the roof leaks and that's where the TV is constantly at full volume. The kitchen fridge is bar sized and was full of rotten food and the rest of the kitchen was covered in flies. We ended up eating out as it was next to impossible to cook in there..would not stay again

Awesome place to stay in Monteverde! The hostel itself is pretty small but super social :) Edwin the owner makes awesome breakfast in the morning. There's no lockers but it was never an issue and still felt really safe. Also there's a really beautiful sitting area overlooking jungle and heaps of hammocks. Can't wait to stay again

We stayed here two nights and it was great. The common area was great for chilling out and the staff was really helpful for booking tours and transportation. The hostel is walking distance to everything. There are small lockers available for your valuables but no curfew so you can come and go as you please. Only downside is that the dorms get very hot but for such a lie price tag, you can manage no aircon for a couple days:)

On the positive side, the rooms were comfortable, there's free toast/tea/coffee in the morning, and the showers are nice. The common area was also pretty decent. The only downside in my opinion were some of the staff. They weren't very helpful and some of them were quite rude. I ended up booking day trips through a friend's hostel next door because of this.

Loved my stay at slumber party:) The staff are all awesome, the beer pong and pub crawl were loads of fun, and the dorms are comfortable enough to stumble back to. I ended up booking an extra night despite my liver telling me not to. Also, beds all have plug sockets, privacy curtains, and lights and the showers are hot

Nicest hostel I've stayed in in Southern Thailand. Beds all had lights and sockets, showers were great, and the bar downstairs was pretty decent. Only downside is that there's nothing going on around the hostel and it's pretty far from any beaches. I had a lovely stay but switched after one night to be closer to aonang and the beach.

The atmosphere/common area was great. It's a 10-15 minute walk from sairee beach and the nightlife there so still really convenient. The fan dorms had loads of fans so it didn't get overly hot. My biggest complaint was the bathrooms. Showers barely work and the bin only gets emptied every few days.
Thanks for your review. We are now working on improving cleanliness in our hostel.

Aside from the weirdly hard pillows, I really have nothing bad to say about Born Free. The atmosphere was great for meeting other solo travellers, the hostel is a short 10 minute walk to khao San road and street markets, and the staff were always around to answer questions or suggest places to visit. Definitely go for the aircon room if you can, it's amazing after a day out in the heat.

It has a great atmosphere despite being a bigger hostel and all the beds had a power outlet and locker. It's a bit far from the center but the metro is really close.

Good hostel, walking distance to the bus station. The girl at the desk was so welcoming and helpful when I checked in and the common area and kitchen are really nice. The showers could have been a tiny bit cleaner but they weren't even that bad. I would stay there again.

Great hostel across the street from the beach. Boban and Arsen are awesome and really helpful and the atmosphere was great for meeting people. The bathrooms could be a tiny bit cleaner but besides that, I have no other complaints:) I would definitely stay here again

This is one of the best hostels I''ve ever stayed at. It has a great atmosphere for meeting people, the showers are life changing, and the breakfast is delicious. Be sure to book the tour if you stay, it's definitely worth it.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sarajevo. Haris is awesome and really helpful, the view over the whole city is great, and the hostel has a great atmosphere for meeting people (perfect for a solo traveller like myself).

The staff were really friendly, but besides that the hostel wasn't my favorite. The common area was recently turned into an extra dorm so there was only one small place to socialize in the basement kitchen. Also the location is a bit too far from town.

I love this hostel. The common area and garden have a great atmosphere, the diner is prepared on site every night (and is vegetarian friendly) and the staff are wonderful. The dorms were fully booked when we arrived and the guy at the desk went out of his way to find us a tent and bedding for the camping area. Definitely one of my favorite hostels.

I stayed 3 nights and wanted to stay longer. The garden and bar had a great atmosphere, the location is perfect, and the staff were really and friendly:) A few extra bathrooms would have been ideal and maybe some more breakfast options like fruit. I would definitely stay again.

Cleanest hostel I've stayed in. The rooftop bar was really nice and there's loads of nightlife and restaurants close by. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place:)

The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. It was pretty quiet so not the best place if you're a solo traveller wanting to meet other people, but for a short stay it was pretty decent. I would have liked if the dorm door locked.

The breakfast and dinner are delicious. The hostel itself is pretty quiet and there were quite a few families with younger children staying there. The location is perfect for walking to the beach though and the staff were awesome and really helpful

The staff were awesome, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect for seeing a lot of the main tourist stuff. Also the bunk beds have privacy curtains and reading lights and the rooftop bar was great. I loved this place:)

I stayed for 5 nights and it was great. The common area was good for meeting people and the location is pretty convenient (walking distance to Monmatre ). The WiFi didn't work in the rooms but other than that, I had no issues:)
We would like to thank you for your positive review and we are happy you could meet other guests and benefit from the Montmartre district. Concerning the Wifi connection, we advise you it is now available in every room so feel free to come back at Smartplace Paris, we will be happy to welcome you.

I only stayed for one night so it was the perfect place. The rooms are spotless and the breakfast was delicious. As a solo traveller, it wasn't a great place to meet people but otherwise this place was great.

Great location, good breakfast, and lockers in the rooms. The WiFi didn't work in the room but there was lots of space in the common areas:)

The free breakfast was quite good and the location was great. Their are lockers in the rooms and you get a key for them when you check in. Unfortunately, the common area is more of a large cafeteria and is quite loud. Also, I woke up on my second night with bed bug bites but when I mentioned it to staff they seemed good about it so hopefully that was a one off.
Hi, Thanks for your review. Often people think they got bitten by bed bugs, but in fact it were mosquitos. We check our rooms daily and we do not have bed bugs. We do have mosquitos sometimes during high season! Greetings, Hans Brinker

I loved this place. It's walking distance to a couple stations and close to plenty of bars and restaurants. The staff were all really friendly and it's not a massive place so it was easy to meet other travellers. My only complaint was that the locker was big enough for my rucksack to fit. I would definitely stay here again:)
