Isaacs Hostel

Has everything you need in a hostel but had a few nagging problems. I have never complained about wifi in a review before but the wifi here just irritated me. To connect to the internet you had to check-in at Isaac's on Facebook... every time. It never worked so I had to keep getting one of the guys at reception to do it for me. So if you don't have Facebook you can't use wifi. Also you have to rent a locker from them for 2 euro a day, as well as put a 10 euro deposit on the key.

This was a great hostel, felt like a home more then anything. The beds were really comfy and it's super close to the surf beach. The pinchos crawl was fantastic, if your there for it definitely go! It's difficult to find so google map it before you go.

Fantastic hostel. A bit far from the city center but still located in a really cool neighbourhood that's great for food and culture.

Hostel Baccarat

I had a great time in Nice due to the people I met through the hostel mostly in the common area. One thing to note is that the kitchen is shared with another hostel so it can be super busy. Walking distance from everything you would like to see. I paid for a 8 bed dorm but was upgraded to a 4 bed when I checked in.

This was a great hostel. The beds were super comfy and the staff tried their best to help you out with everything. Do the free walking tour the hostel runs, it was one of the better ones I've done in Europe.

This is more a hotel then a hostel but it is really nice and has a bar for meeting people. The only negative is the location is pretty sketchy.

Snuffel Backpacker Hostel

The bar downstairs is great for meeting people and cheap beer. Like everyone else said the showers are a whole different experience, they reminded me of a campground. It's also short on bathrooms. Good for a few nights to party in Brugge.

The location of this place is great and overall it servered it's general purpose. The rooms and bathrooms could use a good scrub down. At one point it rained and the roof dripped on my bag soaking all my clothes.

The beds are comfy and there is air conditioning in the rooms. The location is great, however finding the place is exremely difficult. The hostel is located on what looks like a alley and they don't really have a sign, triple check your map before you go. The kitchen was great and always clean.

Great atmosphere and outdoor patio. Big kitchen and close to everything you want to see in Sarajevo. My only complaint is that the room was a pretty tight squeeze. I would definitely return next time I visit Sarajevo.

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed at during my travels. It has air conditioning, huge lockers, comfy beds with a curtain, breakfast included and super helpful staff. My only complaint would be that there is no stove, but if you cook in the microwave its fine.

Treestyle Hostel

Budapest, Hungary

Overall a good place to stay to see Budapest and close to the ruin bars. The rooms could be improved with air con. or a fan, it was 40 degrees during our stay and very hot in the room. The security for the rooms was good, the front door locked, same with hallway and room doors. The lockers are small, only really for valuables. Kitchens on both floors with multiple fridges.

Do Step Inn

Vienna, Austria

Nice big kitchen and a block from the main train and metro station. The room was hot but there were big windows to open and a fan in the room. It's a big hostel and not great for meeting people. Staff was very helpful. They do allow large stag parties which was kinda uncomfortable when I had to walk through a large group of guys drunk, ripping open their shirts to get out the front door, other that incident a pretty good stay.

Shelter City

The location of this place is fantastic! The breakfast was also amazing. The facilities were average, and our room was pretty cramped. They have a court yard for meeting people. The hostel covered all the basics and was the cheapest we could find in the red light district.
