More a bed&breakfast than a hostel, but a very good choice for small groups or couples. Breakfast is basic, just coffee, tee, toast and jam, but good. Staff was very helpful and gave good advices about the city and places for eating. Room was very spacious, clean and the bathroom provides an outstanding shower. Wifi was good and location is perfect. Near San Lorenzo market and just a 3 minute walk from the cathedral and central station. Only negative: It was sometimes cold in the room.

Friends Hostel

As already mentioned more like an Airbnb-Flat than a Hostel. Two rooms share a bathroom and in the corridor is a small table for breakfast. Breakfast is a packed croissant and instant coffee and there is no kitchen - just a water heater, a mikrowave and a fridge. Positive is the location near Termini. Also the room was spacious, clean and quiet. Beds are okay. Negative is the Wifi - absolutly no Wifi in the room. Just in the corridor near the entrance door sometimes a bad and slow connection.

Hostel Erottajanpuisto

Nice Hostel in a great old House near the center of Helsinki. Dorms are very basic and there is not much room to store backpacks or trunks. The kitchen seems to be very small for a hostel at this size. But everything was clean, athmosphere was very friendly and the one key per room thing is not a problem. Staff maybe could be a bit more helpful and provide more information. Alltogether a nice hostel where I would stay again for a city trip to Helsinki.

Very lovely Hostel with just 6 beds. It is a place for real backpapers. There is enough room for everything, kitchen is clean and provides everything you need and you can get much infos from your host. Location is nice - you live in the Old Town. All important sights can be reached easily and the supermarket is just around a corner. I will stay there again, when I go back to Tallinn.

Wicked Hostels - Calgary

A hostel for young people where you can meet travelers and people on work and travel trips. The owner is friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is relaxed. The free self-service breakfast is basic but okay. There is free Wifi, computers, printers and a Skype-phone. The rooms are very small and there are no lockers. It's okay to stay there, but I have seen better hostels.

Very nice hostel with friendly stuff and good self-service breakfast. Highlight is the rooftop. There you can sit, talk and play with a wonderful view over Toronto. Internet connection is very slow, sometimes unusable and the bathrooms are a little bit dark. Brighter light would help here.

Q4 Hotel

New York, USA

The private rooms are nice. You have your own shower and so. Connection to Manhatten is good and the kitchen and common room in the basement too. Room could be cleaner and the staff could be friendlier. Our keycards didn't work and so we had to ask always the stuff to get in our room. Nevertheless we had to pay the 5 $ for storing the luggage after checkout.

The Q4 is a new hostel. The connection to Manhatten via train and subway is good. The kitchen and common room in the basement are really great. But there are no lockers in the dorms. The shower and the restroom are within the dorm. I didn't like that very much. At night you can hear the nearby trains. Value for money is okay, because New York is always expensive.

Very good hostel for meeting people! John, the breakfast-guy, connects people in an easy and lovely way. Breakfast is included and delicious. The dorms are large and the lookers are big enough. Staff is friendly and there are a lot of activities you can join. So I will stay there again, when I'm in Washington next time.
