Location is good, just north of the lake and west of the market. Very helpful in booking Halong Bay/Cat Ba Island trip (2 nights) for I think a good price ($90). Room was a little dank, dusty and shower/bathtub contraption in bathroom not easy to navigate. Very noisy at night, you can hear others in stairway, doors opening/closing when others come in at night.
I stayed in a private room for one night and unfortunately didn't get to enjoy it too much because I had a bout of food poisoning. The staff at the front desk is a little intense and a little abrupt, but the rooms are clean, the art is cool, and the hostel has a nice downstairs restaurant and upstairs bar area. The restaurant is pricey for Phnom Penh. There are other places nearby, easy to walk to some sights with a map and easy to catch a ride via tuk tuk or motor bike too.
Sweet inn, a little bit away from the "downtown" area, but easy to ride a bike or flag a tuk tuk or motorbike ride. Super clean, very nice staff, who let me borrow a book to take with me to the Angkor temples. Nice pub downstairs too and great area to chill upstairs with swinging chairs. A pool would have made this perfect. Very clean!
