Very friendly staff, but the rooms were so warm when I was there (beginning of July) that we had to sleep with the window open, with the neverending noise of cars and vespas, and the (very hungry) mosquitoes. It was a pity not to sleep in a hostel this nice.
Very good for a couple of nights, for a backpackers. Otherwise, not for one week.
For the £10.5 I paid, we knew it wouldn't be the Hilton, and that was fine for the night. Yes, our room wasn"t the cleanest, the food wasn't the best, but guess what, that's why it's called a youth hostel, and not a hotel. So very satisfctory altogether
