Great hostel. Very organized but still chill. Friendly, English speaking staff. Nice breakfast, eggs included til 9am. Wifi all over, decently fast. Small personal security lockers in office for charging phones/iPods. Great bar with food for lunch and dinner. Good drinks and good/affordable food(grilled chicken with fries, rice, and salad for $13 soles). Tour company in house. Great location few blocks from the plaza de armas. Would stay again.

Hostel Titiuta, formerly San Antonio Suites, was a great place to rest in Puno. It's under new management and they are wonderful. Central location, 2 blocks from plaza de Armas. Great breakfast with eggs cooked to order. Amazing service, with a smile. Hot water showers. Can easily book tours and buses for you and have tickets delivered to hotel. If in Puno again, will be staying here.

Had to cancel first two nights of a five night stay due to weather and Alex was very understanding and responded to emails quickly. This hostel is a wonderful place to chill out for a few days. Huge common area with wifi, pool table, bar and movies. Decent simple breakfast. Alex will fix you a plate of what his family is having for dinner each night for $30bs. Nice pool and yard as well. Tough to find but worth it. Cache google map location in your phone prior to arrival. Great stay!

Great B&B style place up on a hill with awesome views. Service is amazing, the food offered is delicious and affordable. The owners are both very nice and down to earth. Wifi is slow but I expected that given Samaipata's remote location. It helps you disconnect and relax better imho. Thanks guys for a great stay!

Really impressed during our stay. Staff were all friendly, multilingual, and eager to help you book a tour or plan your own excursion. Well equipped kitchen. The included breakfast is good. Within walking distance to a big supermarket and the local bus terminal. Also has a nice bar, pool table, and pool (too cold during our visit). Would stay again for sure.

Manga Hostel Lapa – Rio

This newer hostel right in the heart of Lapa was great. Attentive staff. Was in an 18 bed dorm with about 10 people so it didn't feel too crammed and things are laid out very well. Might be a bit crammed if it was packed full. Good breakfast included. Free caipirinhas (weekend evenings I believe). Easy to walk right into the Lapa street party.

Had a great time at lisetonga hostel! Close enough to the beach, restaurants, and bars. Nice common areas. Great staff. Two for one happy hour on beers and caipirinhas. Only thing I'd stay away from the downstairs dorm named Corleone. It was nice and had plenty of space, just right beside reception and the bar made it always loud. Thanks guys!
