The location is perfect, in the middle of the old town. You can walk to all the interesting places in Ha Noi. The staff was very nice. They helped us so much. The whole hostel is very clean (we got fresh towels every day and they also cleaned the room and the bathroom every day). They also offer a simple breakfast and the safe in the room made us feel safe ;)

The best bed I've slept in China (very comfortable). The food there is just awesome. The lobby is also a highlight (very lovely interior)..

The location is perfect. just a few minutes to the bamboo-boats and just across the street you can walk up a hill to enjoy an amazing view (it's very exhausting but absolutely worth it!!) They're pizza-ofen is incredible. After 4 months in China it was at the time to eat something "western" again. The pizza out of that ofen is probably better than some pizzas in italian tourist destinations...!

The whole location plan is very very imprecise!! From Guilin to Dazhai Village and up to the hostel it takes between 4 and 5 hours!! There was nothing mentioned in the descripton that we have to walk up the hill for about 45 Minutes! OK, there is the possibility to let someone carry your luggage up the hill, but this are all women and they are about 40 years older than me. (so actually that was not a opportunity for me).
