I stayed here with another person in a private ensuite room. The room was clean & comfortable, but extremely small and no window (not unusual for Kowloon). The staff was friendly but overwhelmed by several groups of people waiting to check in all at once. The price is VERY high for such a tiny room, but we booked last minute during Mid-Autumn Festival. The location is excellent, as you are less than a block from the Tsim Sha Tsui station and a 5-10 min walk from the waterfront. Very secure room.

Excellent location, friendly and patient staff, and a good ambiance. I love that you can (and are expected) to write on the walls for future visitors. There are always a lot of people in the restaurant/bar but it was never rowdy, in fact it was very inviting. I stayed in a private two bed ensuite room, which was no-frills but pleasant. Very hard beds, but clean and refreshed daily by hostel staff. I was recommended to stay here by a reliable source, and I am happy to pass the recommendation on.

Great hostel, great location on Wellesley St. very near Queen St. Around the corner from restaurants, a good coffee shop, and Elliot Stables. The place is clean and comfortable. No lockers in the room, but plenty of small lockers down the hall. The staff also lets you store your bags in a locked room while you're out for the day. Three free hours of WiFi, plenty if you are out doing things instead of holed up in your room. Staff was friendly and helped with travel ideas and setting up tours.
Thanks for the Awesome Review!! Pretty much exactly how we describe the hostel so its amazing to hear that our guests think so too! Come and see us again when back in Auckland - Don't forget to tell everyone on your travels where to stay in Auckland! Cheers Attic Team

Good hostel in a great location, right across from Flinder's Street Station and right around the corner from DeGrave's street with lots of cafes. Big kitchen and seating area with lots of fridge space, and a decent and comfortable TV room in the next room. The WiFi only works in the lobby and 1st floor, and not in the rooms, so most people in the public spaces are not social but just on phone/laptop. Staff were very helpful and friendly and will help book tours, etc.

The price was unbeatable. That said, you get what you pay for - this is one crowded room with a whole bunch of bunk beds, no way to cook food, no fridge, and only one bathroom. There are no lockers and no real way to secure your luggage. On the other hand, Valery was a real cool guy, & he walked out and met me at the subway station and took me back to the hostel - you will NOT find it on your own. Also, all the dormmates were really cool, the group clicked very fast and we had a blast together.

I had an exceptional time staying at this hostel. The staff were beyond friendly, it was easy to meet people, and I got the sense everyone there was having an excellent time. The owner seemed genuinely interested in providing a good hostel for travelers, and the staff really made it work by interacting with guests, giving reliable travel advice and assisting with booking tours and planning trips. The hostel events were fun, and there is a good game room and bar. Highly recommended to stay here.

Great location - less than a 5 minute walk from Busáras (the main bus station in Dublin). Our third floor room got very hot, but it was unusually sunny. It was really noisy (weekend), but not nearly as bad as the hostels closer to Temple Bar. Towels were 2 euro each (plus 5 deposit) which was expensive for me, but if you are backpacking and didn't bring a towel you're doing it wrong anyway. Quiet (also very hot) basement, decent kitchen and multiple common rooms. Overall very happy with my stay.
Thanks for your review. Being hot is unusual for Dublin. We do tell guests on our website and if they call that we don't provide towels. Sorry that was a problem for you.

Great staff who waited for us, greeted us by name, and told us about the city. Location is very close (two blocks) to one of the two round towers in Ireland you can actually climb, and a short distance from Black Abbey.

Stayed 2 nights, one in a 5-bed dorm and the other in a brand new "apartment" (Twin Bed Private Ensuite). The dorm was basic, comparable to other hostels but clean with a very shared bathroom right outside. The private apartment was impressive. The apartment was separate with a locked main door opening into a kitchen/dining room, then 2 locked 2-bed private rooms. The shared bathroom was clean but we ran out of hot water. Had trouble with the main lock but staff responded fast and fixed it.
