A good experience for the most part. There's too many keys for all the doors, which makes it really confusing and is a waste of time trying to figure out which key goes to which door. Key cards would be a good idea to invest in or make all the locks one key is also a good option. The first night we got kicked out of the common room because the people next to us were being too loud, so I'm not sure why we got kicked out. This was 5 minutes after the loudest crowd ever left for a pub crawl.

Hotel de Gale is where we stayed because the hostel where we were supposed to stay in overbooked so they moved us to a different location. Other than having a very beautiful view of the ocean and good free breakfast Hotel de Gale is not a good place to stay and I wouldn't recommend it. The toilet and bathtub are filthy and the toilet lid falls back when you open it so you have to hold it when you go do your business.

Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it a lot. Location is great and is not too far away from the city center and all the beaches. We arrived later at night by bus and couldn't find a taxi that would take us because we had a lot of luggage. We called Carlos and he was there to pick us up from the bus station personally which we were really thankful for. Staff were all great and answered all the questions we had. Great stay!!!

A great hostel with a great atmosphere. Dinners are worth the price and all the staff were very helpful. The free breakfast was not too bad either. The only improvement that needs to be done is to get air conditioning. Even with the windows open it was very hot and I couldn't sleep at all.
