Good location in a quiet area of St Pauli, friendly and commited staff, convenient kitchen and bar, BBQ was a bonus. Stickers and political messages everywhere were a bit unusual, otherwise good backbackers hostel. Wish to be able to come back alone by the end of the year, to finish my discussion with one of the owners. Even if we don't reach to the same conclusions, we visibly have a lot in common. (That's what hostels are made for) Thanks for everything guys. See you soon.

Convenient location, helpful and professionnal staff, big meeting rooms, huge kitchen. Good music atmosphere on saturday night, but I found the beers price a bit high. The twin room was in a different building. Not the best ever but fine for a long WE. We lately discovered the sport room, situated next to the storage room. Hope to come back soon.

Convenient location, helpful staff, big meeting rooms, a real kitchen would be a plus. The loud sound from the disco-pub downstairs until 2am was an issue for me, as I did not feel like partying after a long walking day in town. The tricky locker scared me, as I was in rush for leaving. Otherwise nothing really changed since my last visit. Wish to go back with my friends in a more quiet room.

8 years after my last visit, nothing really changed. Good location, facilities, breakfast, cleaning, overall facilities. The only minus was the room on the first night: a crappy familly room with one double and 2 single beds, instead of the 4 beds private ensuite, describe on the website "for 4 people 4 single beds". Thanks to the manager, we were given the room we expected the next night.

Very good place to stay in. Nothing to really complain about. A few minus with the lack of locker in the toilet's room. Toilets light also on the reception floor, too short : you might be in the complet dark before you finish (=dangerous). We'll stay there again.

Nothing to really complain about. Nice staff, clean place, good facilities, big room with good matresses. Close to the train station. During the night, you may feel sometime unsecure in the area, but nothing happened. The only minus was the common areas occupied all day by a large group of scouts for a seminar. So no real atmosphere and no way to meet any other traveller.

No complain about this brand new modern building, the professionnal staff, the confortable room and the services. But this is a hotel, not a hostel. So do not expect to meet travelers and sociolize there. It is also near the Exhibition Centre, and quite far away from the city centre by foot. Would come back for a business purpose, not like a backpacker.

Nice staying there, 1 of the best places in uk. Everything was fine from the arrival (even before) to the check out. Helpfull multilingual staff. Many services were offered for a deposit/small amount. (charger, towel, breakfast...) Several huge kitchen fully equipped and common rooms to meet people or chill out. The decoration was also nice. Minuses : the room itself was a bit small for 3p, the mattresses average. But the view was great, the place quiet for a good night after a long day walk

Good staying there. Easy to find in Termini area. The 3p room was more in a hotel style (nice, quiet and confortable with tv, ac, fridge...) The common room was handy for basic cooking, and meeting people. The continental breakfast was fine. Around 19:00 some nights, I was told that some pizza slices were given (but you need to be quick) For the minus : a micro wave or oven would be great in the kitchen. Check out time is a bit early (10am) We had a good time there.

Excellent staying there. Good location next to the train station, lidl and the main places. Clean and quiet. All the staff was extremely helpfull and professionnal. Many facilities (shop, change, internet, kitchen, laudry, lockers, one light per bed...). A few minus: The 3p room was a bit small, like the kitchen. (amazing storage in the fridge on a safe style) Check out time 10am is a bit early. Not a party hostel. Nice place to relax and recover on a good matress, after a long day walk...

Good location, close to the Tsim Sha Tsui subway, and piers. The Chungking Mansion is a very cosmopolitain place, with an amazing atmosphere. The 1st floor must be seen. Taking the lift is like an adventure. So after you reach the 10th, you find some friendly owners in a small, but clean hostel. Conformable bed with TV set, and WIFI. Very tiny shower in the toilet place. Efficient but noisy AC, banging all the night. Anyway, much better experience than my last visit in HK 10 years ago.

Good location, close to the subway and the main places. Reception was moving when I arrived, so the visit was a bit quick. Helpful staff anyway. Confortable double ensuite room, with TV set, AC, and WIFI. Food and drinks are convenient, but a bit overprice. The place was quite during the week, but try not stay in the room 670 (next to the common room) during the WE.

Located in a traditional hutong, not so far away from the subway station. Good housekeeping. Efficient train ticket service. My single room was around 10m², with AC and a good bed. Nice courtyard. Quiet by night. The main interest of this place is the on-demand food service, for a reasonable price. Breakfast can be bought for around Y20. Good cheap beers also.

Good location and occasion to experiment life in a traditional hutong, close to the subway and major sites. A lot of small restaurants/shops around. Easy to find. Very helpful staff. Good housekeeping. Minimarket and tour desk. Draught beer service gave a good conviviality spirit, to meet other guests. Don’t stay next to the common rooms during the WE, if you want to sleep early. My single was 8m², with a TV set, the AC, and a good bed. I enjoyed the continental breakfast before I started my day

Good location, close to the train station, in a quiet street, a few minutes walk from the old center. Nice and efficient staff. Rooms are big enough for 6p, beds get a good mattress, lockers were convenient. Good cleaning. More like a party hostel, with a pub downstairs, but the rooms remains quite despite of the surrounded noise. The indoor garden is a plus, the perfect location for meeting people and chilling out. I hope I didn't bother to much the lovely couple and BritXX from Illinois, but this place put me in a very good mood. The twin room was in a different building. + Very good location and easy to find night and days. Very convenient restaurant, good cleaning overall. Many services and rooms to chill out. Convenient bar, but poor atmosphere in the reception room. - horrible smell when we came in the room, small bed but confortable mattress. Thin walls, so you hear the doors slaming all the night. Good security as you have to badge to access to every floor/room, but surprised when the reception made a mistake and gave me access to somebody else room ?!?!

Helpful staff. Good location, close to the train and bus station, but a bit noisy because of the street. Free access to the computers & WIFI. The twin bed was more like a flat (occupied before we came?!?), with a small kitchen and a nice bathroom. A bit smelly at the begining. We had to checkin at the Fortuna 60m away, as this hostel was on renovation, and also shared the common areas with the other hostel. Ok for what we paid, but would probably stay at the Fortuna if I come back.

Good location, extremely clean place, confortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good place for meeting people in the common room. Definitely a party hostel, well known for pub-crawls. (From what I heard it worst its reputation). After 5 pints and a few shots, I didn’t feel like going out, and I was quite surprise to see everyone leaving around 11:30pm and coming back at 4am. Very good WE there, better than I expected. Helpful staff, clean place, confortable beds in the twin bedroom, 2 kitchens with many facillities, good french breakfast in the morning, good location. Several common rooms with different atmospheres. Many foreign travellers to meet and celebrate St Patrick's day nicely. The best hostel in France so far. A few minus with the noise on Saturday night, coming from a local bar, and the leaving time too early (10am). I RECOMMAND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

Pretty good WE in this hotel. The best value for money in Venice. Nice staff, good location on the Lido. Confortable beds, quiet (recommand to stay at the back during the summer).Don't know for the breakfast, but you may find opportunities all around... The 3p room was big enough. For the bad points: the shower door not closing totally, the lack of people at the reception when you drop/take your key sometime during the day. A kettle would be nice in the room. I recommand and will be back 1 day.

I booked to the Demo hotel but had to stay at the club hotel around the corner, with no explanation. Good location close to the train station and metro. Huge breakfast. Except for the ground floor, this place does not worth 3 stars. After you left, you can leave your luggages downstairs (low security). The room was dark, and very noisy because of the traffic. Some machinery/plombery noises woke us up in the middle of the night. I had a better sleep and stay in some basic hostel before.

Pretty good stay overall. Good location, and facilities. Nice staff, clean place. Quite as I was in a room at the end of the corridor. The very light continental breakfast is one of the weakest points: only toasts with no jam, and no butter on Sunday.

Nice staff, good location. After a bad night in an other hostel, I was pleased to sleep in a proper bed, and to have a shower in a good size one. For the bad points: a breakfast would be a plus. I only found a "kitchen corner" in one of the rooms on the basement. (I would not like this rooms to be mine). I was surprise to share the room key with the 9 rooms mates. Good stay overall.

Nice staff, good facillities and location. But narrow beds, with no barrier on the sides. So sleeping on the upper beds is very risky. I failled to break my neck as I fall down in the middle of the night after moving. This point really need to be fixed. I was also surprised to pay 50% before coming, as the hostel wasn't full, and I could have extended my stay if I wanted. (we were 3 in a 10p dorm)

This twin bedded room on the top floor was nice, clean and quite. Confortable beds. Nice staff, good facilities (even if some crockeries are missing in the kitchen.) The continental breakfast was ok. The weakest point is the atmosphere, even in the bar downstairs. Good staying as usual.

Recently renovated building, with a real caracter. I found the curtains system clever in the 6p room. Kitchen upstairs with good facilities, reasonnable size breakfast (ham and salami would be a plus for a real eastern breakfast). Little café on the basement, run by a professionnal staff. Just in the centre of Brno, close to Tesco shop. Nothing to really complain about this staying, exept a band of drunk people who spoiled the sleep of the others on saturday night. Will certainly come back.

Good enough in the overall. Located in a small street, nobody knew this place, except the tourist information center. So print out the map, especially if you arrive by night. Nice staff, good facilities. Breakfast ok. Very quite area. For the bad points : old mattress, bunk beds very shaky. Not enough bathroom for everyone, so wake up early if you want to have a shower. The reception should ask for a deposit instead of an id, because many bars and clubs also require to show your id to get in.

Very professionnal and helpful staff. Good location and security. Average hostel for the rest. I found only 2 showers upstairs . The door of the first one did not close (which is embarrassing). 2£ for a small bottle of beer isn't not a great deal. A breakfast would be a plus.

Brand new hostel designed by an architect/traveller for the travellers. Very motivated staff. Easy to find (2nd floor, opposit to the train platforms). Very central location, quiet n&day. Extremely clean, real mattress. Amazing building and decoration. Many aditional services and activities for free or for a reasonable price. I forgot to mention the great breakfast in the morning. One of the 3 best places I've been to so far. I felt very relax there, so I HIGHLY RECOMMAND THIS PLACE TO EVERYONE.

Nice staff (Jimmy). Easy to find, and well located between the strip and downtown. 24h bus (2$). When you first arrive, the area seems a bit strange next to an adult store, and a loud tatoo shop. But remember you're in Vegas... Quite and safe by night. Brand new rooms, confortable, with nice showers. Small kitchen and common area. Can't judge for the social life as I was out most of the time. You may like it or not. It was ok for me.

The only interrest is the location, ON THE 5th east NOT ON THE 7th, next to the museum of sex. (It took me an hour to find it). Bed linen for 6$(supposed to be included). I asked for some change for using the internet, and was told to go to the cafe around the corner (I gave them all my 1$ notes just before). The comptuter's mouse and keyboard didn't work (0,2/min, 3$ mini). Basic room, not so clean, only 1 door to the shower. Tricky card to access. Staff only care about your money. Bad vibs

Excellent staying there. Convenient location, friendly staff. The twin room was quite small 7m² but good matress and cleaning. 10% off on beers in the st christopher pubs, which is great! Live band on Friday, and dj party on saturday at the "village". (A bit noisy if you don't party). The continental breakfast was ok. Nice bar on top of the hostel, (a bit difficult to find), but nice place to meet people. Important: u need to checkin at the St Cristopher's village 165 Borough High Street. TBien.

Good facilities, daily housekeeping, comfortable beds, and great size rooms for a reasonable price. Quiet place (good for sleeping), but poor atmosphere probably due to the non alcoholic policy and to the small size of the common room. For the bad points: 600RUB for the registration fees is too much. During our trip in Russia, 2 hostels did not charge anything, and we paid no more than 150RUB each in the 3 others. For the postal service, the staff will show you on a map where the post office is.

Nice staying, even if the beginning was a bit difficult (tricky door). You definitely need to phone from the metro station to tell Igor where you are, otherwise you will be stock outside the door as the digicode system doesn\'t work + no public phone around. Nice small hostel with a real backpacker spirit, good value for money, house keeping, facilities and real breakfast. Accommodating staff, when in. Safe area, next to the local milicia office. The best place I stayed in during my trip. Very honest and helpfull staff. Hard to believe from the outsite, that the building welcomes backpacker travellers. A fan for the warm nights, and some personal lights for not waking everyone up, would be like a great improvement. Pretty small kitchen also, but does the job. Good place, I will come back again.

Old fashion style hotel. Good bed, cable tv, (noisy) fridge, microwave. Efficient housekeeping on request. Thin walls, so pray to be at the back of the hotel, with some quiet neighbours. Free internet (when it works). One of the weakest point is the staff. Some does not care about you, and seems to be annoy when you ask them something. Very sad for a \"tourist class hotel\". Otherwise great location, between Chinatown, North beach (little Italy), and downtown

Pretty good location, clean, and very helpful staff. Could be more fun. I would have appreciate the kitchen and common room to be open after 23h. Hotel sympa pour venir entre amis, ou meme avec sa copine, pour pas trop cher.

Very helpful and motivated staff. Good location, facilities, with free internet. I would personnally recommend the 4 people room, because the 8p dorm may be noisy with people passing throught to access their room. I\'ll be back!!!

Nice staff. Quiet and clean place. Really had difficulties to park the car on Freiday night, so come by bus (200m away from the bus station). A breakfast would be great.

Nice staff, clean, close to the bus station. But definitly not the best place I stayed in. Noisy by night (must be a club around). Far from Broad Street (the liviest area). Dark area by night (safe?)Only one shower for the whole floor. I booked a 4 male dorm and I was given a 8 mixed dorm. If you want to experience sleeping in a coffin, make sure before you're not tall, big or suffer from clostrophobia. For that price, next time I will accept sleeping on my friend's sofa.

Hi Vincent, Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time here at BCB. But just so you know, when you were moved from a 4 bed dorm in our second building to the pod dorm in our main building, it was an upgrade. The pod dorm is our most expensive dorm. You are the first guest to tell us they didn't like our pod dorm which has extra comfy mattresses, curtains, an assigned locker, and a reading light to provide you with extra privacy. Had you let us know you felt claustrophobic we would have moved you immediately, but because you never told us, how would we know you had a problem? We have to admit that your negative rating comes as a surprise to us considering you never expressed any concerns about your stay while you were staying here. In fact you said to my husband on the morning before you left that it was one of the best sleeps you had, so I am confused. As for our location, we are a 30 second walk from the coach station and a 5 minute walk to the Bull Ring Shopping Centre and 7 minutes to the Arcadian Complex, so we have a very central location. On the weekends it can be noisy around here as we are located by some lively bars and clubs which do make some noise- the same as you would find in any city centre location. We are not far from Broad Street. Broad Street is located on the other side of the city centre from us and it is easily accessible by a 15-20 minute walk, by the 126 bus or a 5 taxi ride. I do find it interesting though that you are complaining about the noise level here but wanted to be closer to Broad Street which is 10 times noisier than it is around here. Lastly, your comment about the one shower is incorrect . Rooms 1, 3, and 5 have showers in the room. There is one self-contained shower on the top floor and two showers on the ground floor. We clearly wouldn't expect to house all our guests here with one shower. It's a shame you didn't ask the staff about the showers, or let us know that you were uncomfortable staying in the pods as the situation would have been rectified immediately. Good luck in your travels, Jen Randall

Nearly perfect. One of the only bad point is the lift. Don't get caught and prepare a 0.05 coin, to go to the reception/common area on the 7th floor.

Good location, nice staff, and great breakfast. I came a few times before, and I recommend you to choose an appartment (recently renovated) or a room with internal facilities if you don't want to share the common showers...

The location would be great if it was not so close to the train and police station (noisy). The staff was nice, but the housekeeping could be better. People can't access to the roooms between 11am and 3pm, which is not not fair.
