Good staying there. Easy to find in Termini area. The 3p room was more in a hotel style (nice, quiet and confortable with tv, ac, fridge...) The common room was handy for basic cooking, and meeting people. The continental breakfast was fine. Around 19:00 some nights, I was told that some pizza slices were given (but you need to be quick) For the minus : a micro wave or oven would be great in the kitchen. Check out time is a bit early (10am) We had a good time there.

Excellent staying there. Good location next to the train station, lidl and the main places. Clean and quiet. All the staff was extremely helpfull and professionnal. Many facilities (shop, change, internet, kitchen, laudry, lockers, one light per bed...). A few minus: The 3p room was a bit small, like the kitchen. (amazing storage in the fridge on a safe style) Check out time 10am is a bit early. Not a party hostel. Nice place to relax and recover on a good matress, after a long day walk...

Good location, close to the Tsim Sha Tsui subway, and piers. The Chungking Mansion is a very cosmopolitain place, with an amazing atmosphere. The 1st floor must be seen. Taking the lift is like an adventure. So after you reach the 10th, you find some friendly owners in a small, but clean hostel. Conformable bed with TV set, and WIFI. Very tiny shower in the toilet place. Efficient but noisy AC, banging all the night. Anyway, much better experience than my last visit in HK 10 years ago.

Good location, close to the subway and the main places. Reception was moving when I arrived, so the visit was a bit quick. Helpful staff anyway. Confortable double ensuite room, with TV set, AC, and WIFI. Food and drinks are convenient, but a bit overprice. The place was quite during the week, but try not stay in the room 670 (next to the common room) during the WE.

Located in a traditional hutong, not so far away from the subway station. Good housekeeping. Efficient train ticket service. My single room was around 10m², with AC and a good bed. Nice courtyard. Quiet by night. The main interest of this place is the on-demand food service, for a reasonable price. Breakfast can be bought for around Y20. Good cheap beers also.

Good location and occasion to experiment life in a traditional hutong, close to the subway and major sites. A lot of small restaurants/shops around. Easy to find. Very helpful staff. Good housekeeping. Minimarket and tour desk. Draught beer service gave a good conviviality spirit, to meet other guests. Don’t stay next to the common rooms during the WE, if you want to sleep early. My single was 8m², with a TV set, the AC, and a good bed. I enjoyed the continental breakfast before I started my day

Good location, close to the train station, in a quiet street, a few minutes walk from the old center. Nice and efficient staff. Rooms are big enough for 6p, beds get a good mattress, lockers were convenient. Good cleaning. More like a party hostel, with a pub downstairs, but the rooms remains quite despite of the surrounded noise. The indoor garden is a plus, the perfect location for meeting people and chilling out. The breakfast (4€) is a great deal for saving money. Well run hostel. Good stay

Nothing to really complain about this hostel except the room size, a bit small for 6p. The atmosphere was better than in some big hostels we went to, with some loud music and drunk people. A special thanks to the barman for his friendliness. Will be back one day...

Excellent staying there. Easy to find, in a vibrant location. Nice helpfull staff. Good facilities, breakfast and efficient cleaning. We enjoyed the roof terrace for meeting people. I hope I didn't bother to much the lovely couple and BritXX from Illinois, but this place put me in a very good mood. The twin room was in a different building. Noisy girls upstairs, but it was not the hostel fault. No cork screew in the kitchen : shame. Good backpackers spirit there, highly recommand.

+ Very good location and easy to find night and days. Very convenient restaurant, good cleaning overall. Many services and rooms to chill out. Convenient bar, but poor atmosphere in the reception room. - horrible smell when we came in the room, small bed but confortable mattress. Thin walls, so you hear the doors slaming all the night. Good security as you have to badge to access to every floor/room, but surprised when the reception made a mistake and gave me access to somebody else room ?!?!

I would personnally recommend the 4 people room, because the 8p dorm may be noisy with people passing throught to access their room. Bad point : the noise coming from the street until late in the morning. Small size hostel making easier the contact with other travellers. Good stay owerall.

Helpful staff. Good location, close to the train and bus station, but a bit noisy because of the street. Free access to the computers & WIFI. The twin bed was more like a flat (occupied before we came?!?), with a small kitchen and a nice bathroom. A bit smelly at the begining. We had to checkin at the Fortuna 60m away, as this hostel was on renovation, and also shared the common areas with the other hostel. Ok for what we paid, but would probably stay at the Fortuna if I come back.

Strange atmosphere, very different from the reviews. A curtain in the twin room would be great to avoid the light coming from outside. Good location, extremely clean place, confortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Very good place for meeting people in the common room. Definitely a party hostel, well known for pub-crawls. (From what I heard it worst its reputation). After 5 pints and a few shots, I didn’t feel like going out, and I was quite surprise to see everyone leaving around 11:30pm and coming back at 4am. One of the best hostels we stayed in during our trip in the Baltic countries. From far the best atmosphere...

Very good WE there, better than I expected. Helpful staff, clean place, confortable beds in the twin bedroom, 2 kitchens with many facillities, good french breakfast in the morning, good location. Several common rooms with different atmospheres. Many foreign travellers to meet and celebrate St Patrick's day nicely. The best hostel in France so far. Pretty good WE in this hotel. The best value for money in Venice. Nice staff, good location on the Lido. Confortable beds, quiet (recommand to stay at the back during the summer).Don't know for the breakfast, but you may find opportunities all around... The 3p room was big enough. For the bad points: the shower door not closing totally, the lack of people at the reception when you drop/take your key sometime during the day. A kettle would be nice in the room. I recommand and will be back 1 day.

I booked to the Demo hotel but had to stay at the club hotel around the corner, with no explanation. Good location close to the train station and metro. Huge breakfast. Except for the ground floor, this place does not worth 3 stars. After you left, you can leave your luggages downstairs (low security). The room was dark, and very noisy because of the traffic. Some machinery/plombery noises woke us up in the middle of the night. I had a better sleep and stay in some basic hostel before.

A fan for the warm nights, and some personal lights for not waking everyone up, would be like a great improvement. Pretty small kitchen also, but does the job. Good place, I will come back again.

Old fashion style hotel. Good bed, cable tv, (noisy) fridge, microwave. Efficient housekeeping on request. Thin walls, so pray to be at the back of the hotel, with some quiet neighbours. Free internet (when it works). One of the weakest point is the staff. Some does not care about you, and seems to be annoy when you ask them something. Very sad for a \"tourist class hotel\". Otherwise great location, between Chinatown, North beach (little Italy), and downtown

Nothing to really complain about, except the rooms size.

Pretty good location, clean, and very helpful staff. Could be more fun. I would have appreciate the kitchen and common room to be open after 23h. Hotel sympa pour venir entre amis, ou meme avec sa copine, pour pas trop cher.

Very helpful and motivated staff. Good location, facilities, with free internet. I would personnally recommend the 4 people room, because the 8p dorm may be noisy with people passing throught to access their room. I\'ll be back!!!

Good location, even if it took me 1/2 hour to find the place. Very close to the pubs, but a bit noisy during the WE\'nights.

Still a good place to stay in, even if some rooms would need to be renovated.

The building was visibly not design to be an hostel. Small twin bed room. Good enought for a short stay.

Nice staff. Quiet and clean place. Really had difficulties to park the car on Freiday night, so come by bus (200m away from the bus station). A breakfast would be great.

Nice staff, clean, close to the bus station. But definitly not the best place I stayed in. Noisy by night (must be a club around). Far from Broad Street (the liviest area). Dark area by night (safe?)Only one shower for the whole floor. I booked a 4 male dorm and I was given a 8 mixed dorm. If you want to experience sleeping in a coffin, make sure before you're not tall, big or suffer from clostrophobia. For that price, next time I will accept sleeping on my friend's sofa.

Owner Comment (Hide)
Hi Vincent, Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time here at BCB. But just so you know, when you were moved from a 4 bed dorm in our second building to the pod dorm in our main building, it was an upgrade. The pod dorm is our most expensive dorm. You are the first guest to tell us they didn't like our pod dorm which has extra comfy mattresses, curtains, an assigned locker, and a reading light to provide you with extra privacy. Had you let us know you felt claustrophobic we would have moved you immediately, but because you never told us, how would we know you had a problem? We have to admit that your negative rating comes as a surprise to us considering you never expressed any concerns about your stay while you were staying here. In fact you said to my husband on the morning before you left that it was one of the best sleeps you had, so I am confused. As for our location, we are a 30 second walk from the coach station and a 5 minute walk to the Bull Ring Shopping Centre and 7 minutes to the Arcadian Complex, so we have a very central location. On the weekends it can be noisy around here as we are located by some lively bars and clubs which do make some noise- the same as you would find in any city centre location. We are not far from Broad Street. Broad Street is located on the other side of the city centre from us and it is easily accessible by a 15-20 minute walk, by the 126 bus or a £5 taxi ride. I do find it interesting though that you are complaining about the noise level here but wanted to be closer to Broad Street which is 10 times noisier than it is around here. Lastly, your comment about the one shower is incorrect . Rooms 1, 3, and 5 have showers in the room. There is one self-contained shower on the top floor and two showers on the ground floor. We clearly wouldn't expect to house all our guests here with one shower. It's a shame you didn't ask the staff about the showers, or let us know that you were uncomfortable staying in the pods as the situation would have been rectified immediately. Good luck in your travels, Jen Randall

Nearly perfect. One of the only bad point is the lift. Don't get caught and prepare a 0.05€ coin, to go to the reception/common area on the 7th floor.

Good location, nice staff, and great breakfast. I came a few times before, and I recommend you to choose an appartment (recently renovated) or a room with internal facilities if you don't want to share the common showers...

The location would be great if it was not so close to the train and police station (noisy). The staff was nice, but the housekeeping could be better. People can't access to the roooms between 11am and 3pm, which is not not fair.
