I will admit that when booking I did not see the "policy not taking Australians in dorms" at this hostel but booked before boarding the plane and arrived at 9:00 pm to a staff member stating he could not honour my booking. Eventually he did allow me in a dorm but was not recognizing my already paid deposit on hostel world. I still do not understand why Aussies are not accepted in dorms here and have never in my life seen this before. I was also confused as my room was never full during my stay.

Great hostel, with free pasta and other goodies. Lucky their was a fan for one of the basement rooms I had without windows. Thanks for the upgrade to a 4 bed female dorm instead of 6 bed mixed, although I do generally like to mix with males and females. There could be more toilets as in the morning when one was out of order and there had been an accident in another I had to wait for 5-10 minutes to use the toilet. It was not told there is another toilet upstairs. 10am is too late for recpt op

The staff were always friendly and helpful. I think that it is unfair to put an extra charge for sheets and not have it as part of the overall tariff. The hostel isn't far from the main town, but it is still half an hour train ride from the beach. A lot of people struggled with the locks on the doors, so this was often irritating at night and often the room was left unlocked. But the lockers on the rooms stored valuable items. There was a great place to hang out and meet others. Very chilled out

This was by far the best and nicest hostel I have stayed in. Everything was perfect, except for the fact there was no air conditioning for the summer. This might not be a drama other places in Europe, but considering we had to leave the window open to actually breathe and it opened onto a main road, I would highly consider changing this so people can sleep. But seriously this was a perfect hostel otherwise, the best by far. Congratulations to the people who designed such a lovely place! :)

communal areas were too crowded and I suggest if you dont want to be bothered by hoards of loud, ignorant teenagers this is not the place for you. The room was so hot and stuffy, even with the window open and the luggage storage under the bunk was extremely loud when people wanted to open with a key card at night. I was on the third floor, and the only shower room was in the basement! Very inconvenient! And the shower only lasts 10 seconds, so you have to keep pushing it in. Wifi was also down.

oWhen I first arrived, it was after a long flight ad just before check in. I waited an hour or so, and ended up asking if the room was ready. I was created with 'yeah of course' but no one had bothered to tell me this. The hostel is definitely what you pay for. Beds are o , its a very warm social environment. The area is a bit scary if you haven't been here before, there were sirens going past about once an hour! But I had no troubles when I stayed. Oh and there are no curtains on the windows
