We can't recommend this hotel. First the location, we had to walk for about 1 hour to get to the city center, which was extremely exhausting and inconvenient. Secondly, breakfast was awful! We were given croissant and rusks with nutella or jam - which can't be called breakfast. Next-in our room there wasn't a lot of facilities- such as air conditioning or wifi access. And finally our room looked nothing like in the pictures on the website. We booked a luxurious room and got this: bit.ly/1cY6p4l
The room was very nicely decorated and clean. It also had air conditioning. The staff was helpful, they gave us a map of city and neighborhood. However the location of hotel was terrible, about 40 miniutes to the city centre (by foot).Free wifi in our room was out of reach. The stairs was creaking, which was annoying specially at night. Bathroom was dirty, and there were ants in the kitchen (when we left some crumbles). It's not b&b because you have to pay for breakfast, although it was tasty.
Hotel is nicely located, near to the city center - e.g. 15 minites to Coloseum. As another plus we consider the owner, he was very helful, and lovable. But it's enough for advantages. The room wasn't very clean, also had no air conditioning. The bathroom in the room was very noisy after use. The room rate included breakfast and all-day access to tea and coffee. Old rusks and biscuits rather can not be called breakfast, and available pots were covered with stone.
The room was nicely decorated and very clean. A huge plus for the hotel is air conditioning in the rooms - which in the Italian climate is necessary. Another advantage is its location in the historic center of the city. The hotel staff was very helpful, we received a map and some helpful hints. The only negative thing in our case, was a shared bathroom ( cramped.). It turned out that it has no shower, so when we wanted to take a bath you had to ask support for access to shower in another room.
