stayed over Christmas and new years. i would probably not stay here again, staff were not helpful, very unorganized (to the point they canceled activities) and prior to coming had major issues with thief with one member. location is ok if u want to do both Fremont and the strip. the rooms were not very clean most days and the locks to my room was busted meaning it didnt feel safe.only positives were the travelers there and the value, if i was to come vegas i would just hotel it.
hostel in the middle of downtown, right next to the tenderloin which can be iffy depending on time of day however i had no problems here. rooms felt abit small especially the lockers which ment someone was always lacking a place to put their valuables. the common areas in the hostel were nice and had good tours on through the week. the staff seemed very miserable while i was there which didnt give the best vibes. compared to the other hostels ive stayed in SF i probably wouldnt stay here again.
stayed early decemeber. great hostel, got view of G2B right outside. lots of activities to do and atmosphere was great, the staff was super friendly i had great time just chatting with them. only thing that was annoying was the wifi was abit unreliable on few days however it was free so cant really complain. i cant wait to come back to stay here next time i come SF
stayed from halloween to thanksgiving, brilliant place on fairfax right near local shops and about 15 minute walk to the stars. transportation not too reliable near by however the weather is decent u dont mind. the hostel itself is great for its money with free breakfasts, constant activities and normally drinks and dinner for 10$ on most nights. i had amazing time here and already willing to come back next time im in l.a.
located about 40 minutes by bus from disneyworld and around 1h half from universal. the hotel is very nice however the hostel was pretty dated/dirty and the manager was extremely bad for never responding and not being there. My advice is to book into the hotel rather, the staff are very friendly and will help you out alot. it has improved over the last year as they had a event to show the before and after of being on a tv show.
stayed 21/7 to 26/7... located about 20 seconds from subway and central park which means u can get around the park and NYC easily without own transport. marked down facilities as they had very limited equipment and in the middle of hot summer in NY, no A/C was a big minus (however they were ment to be putting this in after i left).. the atmosphere around the travelers while i was there was good however could do with more activities in the hostel as most people ended up doing their own thing.
stayed 20/7... was good for the fact i got into NYC extremely late and had 24 hour check in however it seemed abit too bland for the price compared to other hostels ive stayed in. staff and rooms were nice however there wasnt much atmosphere around the hotel.
