Well, I would've preferred a calmer hostel. There was loud music until 11pm and what I needed was a good sleep. Maybe that's your thing and if it is, in other regards, this hostel was very fine. As for me, if there is a next time coming to Mexico, I will find something else.

Very nice hotel. My room was very beautiful, very spacious. Breakfast was good and there was hot water. The only thing was that there was not much of an atmosphere, because I didn't see a lot of other travelleres, but maybe it's lower season. I recommand.

Staff very welcoming and very helpful. Nice breakfast and nice hot showers. The mattress is a little bit thin though and the pillow hard, but if you've never been to Mongolia before, you'll notice that it's like that pretty much everywhere. It's also hard to find. Anyway, a nice family owned hostel.

I'd definitly recommend to take the rooms with regular beds, not dorm beds. The mattresses are way more comfortable, there's much more space and lockers are newer. I stayed in the two types and I found the regular bed much more enjoyable than the other. As for the rest of the hostel, it's pretty all right. Staff always look happy to help, location is in a residential area, so very quiet at night, clim in rooms where you need it. Perhaps, the bathroom would need to be cleaned a bit more often.

Beautiful colonial house! I was in a dorm with the most beds, but it's so vast that you don't feel overwhelmed. Location is ok, in the centre offre Lima, which also means that you hear honking all night long. Wifi was good, breakfast, basic, but good. No much place to charge your phone.

Pretty nice hostel with almost everything I could wish for, perhaps except a kitchen.

For the price, it was a pretty nice hostel. Comfy beds and very nice hot shower. However, wifi needs to be upgraded, as the only where it seems to work is in an outside terrace (and Cusco is always cold, so not super comfortable). Not much facilitees either, no kitchen and no free tea, but what you're paying, that's worth it.

Comfortable hostal. I had a very large bathroom all to myself. Lockers would have been nice. However, if you decide to go there, make sure to have earplugs as there is a club that diffuse very loud music past 5am.

This hostel had everything a hostel needs, in my opinion : good wifi, comfy beds, tours information and booking, a kitchen. The staff let me in very early in the morning, which I appreciated and bonus, there was a very cute cat. Price is good. The biggest downside is that there is only one bathroom and it's outside (and Chachapoyas is really rainy).

The hostel was totally all right. However, I didn't like having to ring the bell for half an hour (I'm not exaggerating ) before being opened.

Price is really good, but the hostel is really basic too. Bathroom is outside (Huaraz is cold and rainy, so not cool), I never was able to find the hot water and there was not always toilet paper. On my first night, there was a lot of rain and the water came in my room and was all overdose the floor, soaking my things. The bed wasn't super comfortable either. At least, I had big covers, so I wasn't cold. The wifi was also good and everyone was vers nice. At your risk and perils.

If you choose this hostel, you should know that the bed and pillows are hard, the staff doesn't speak a lot of English, not a lot of bathroom and the wifi doesn't work in the rooms. However, it is also one of the cheapest hostel. I went to another hostel after that and while it was more comfortable, it was also more expensive.

The hotel is fine and very cheap. The ladies at the reception were very nice. It's a good place to meet a lot of backpackers. However, don't expect the comfort of what you would find in NZ for instance.

I didn't like this hostel. The mattress was too thin ( and I usually don't complain about that) and I had no place at all to put my backpack. Even though it is very cheap, I wouldn't go back there.

A bit far from city center. The hostel is also a bit old, the doors and the beds make noise.

Super good value for money. Fast wifi and top bunker beds have places to put special belonging, really useful. Not exactly in the center of town, but is walkable.
Thanks very much for the review, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Although we are not in the centre of town we do have other benefits, it's quiet, great street parking, buses to everywhere pass on Princess Street, free taxi service if you are coming to stay for more than 2 nights (from the intercity bus terminal) Enjoy the rest of your trip - Carolyn

Free popcorn and free soup is great. Wifi is not so great. Otherwise, everything you need in a hostel.

Very good hostel. Very spacious and good free soup (but if you want soup and bread, don't wait too long)

Pancakes in the morning and free snack/meal in the evening, so totally worth the price (if you arrive late and leave early, you'd probably miss both though).
Hi there, cheers for the review. We are stoked you enjoyed your stay. Hopefully your travels will bring you back to the capital in the future. Saoirse, General Manager.

The room was very spacious. The hostel is situated near the main street, but is still in a very quiet area. Best of all, there are animals in the courtyard.

The room was very spacious. Everything you need in a hostel. My only critique is that the were almost no plug in the room so recharging my tablette was complicated. Wifi is good, but not in all the rooms.

The hostel was very nice and comfotable. The Kitchen was big. The breakfast was all right. Though, it is only serve on certain times, so if you plan leaving early, you'll probably miss it.

It's in the heart of the city. The only was that it was really loud at night, until I discovered that if I closed the Window, it was not so bad. D

I had the biggest locker I ever had in a hostel room. The breakfast was nice and it was a comfortable hostel. The only thing is that it is a bit hard to find.

Very nice hostel and very good situated since it's only 5 minutes of walk from a Gautrain station and not far from restaurants and other things like that. It's also a safe neighbourhood.

I have a wonderful stay at 33 South Backpackers. I felt welcomed and there are a lot of activities proposed. The hostel is not downtown, but in a very nice place in the city where there is a lot of restaurants.

Not very expensive. It is a bit far by foot from most attractions, but then it's Paris, and there's a metro station near. The services are all right and the staff is friendly enough.

It has great location, well that is to say if you need to go to the airport, because it is a bit far from the center. The staff was very comprehensive and you could take your breakfast at the time you wanted (very practical for people who have very early flights).
Hello :) Thank you very much for your comments. :D It was a pleasure having you here. All the best in your life :)

The staff wasn't there and since you need to get a password to enter the hostel and to do that, you need a cellphone, I don't know what I would have had to do if there wasn't a nice couple to help me with that. However, I had a nice space for me and it was very clean. It is also hard to find, so you'd better have the exact address in mind.

I love the decoration, with rooms having names, such as primavera, spring, which was the name of my room. There was a nice terrace too, even though, it was way too hot to go there when I was in Cordoba.

The best hostel of my trip. The terrace was great. The pool was little, but I enjoyed it very much (it was 40 celsius outside) and I am very grateful to its existence. The atmosphere was nice and there was free pizza.

Ilans was very nice and helpful. The hostel is small, which is cozy. However, it is very hard to find and there are no advertising, so one who would want to go there would need to know the exact address, including the apartement number.

Akelarre Bilbao Hostel was really a good place for a good night sleep. The rooms and the linen were very clean and the breakfast was complete : corne flakes, muffin, croissants, chocolate milk, orange juice, toasts and jam. Besides that, the reception was very nice and helpful.
