this place is basically a converted house. it is not a place to stay if you want to experience Porto but it is absoutely perfect if you Need to get to the Airport, it is hard to find though so beware. also the breakfast is lovely and they will put it out for you no matter how early in the morning!

Great beds, they make things very private even though you're in a large dorm with personal bed fans and lights, plugs and a curtain that wraps all the way around plus lockers under your bed. You can have dinner at their little restaurant, do laundry, use computers, sit on the rooftop patio. It's great! Quite a walk down and uphill to get to the water and some other areas, but that's Porto. Wifi is good also!

I only spent one night here and then cancelled my reservation and went somewhere else. I'm traveling solo and I just wasn't feeling the crazy messy party atmosphere. People's stuff was covering the floor in my room, the kitchen was gross, the fridge smelled, people were sleeping on all the common area couches, not for me! But seemed like awesome staff so it just depends what you're in the mood for.

This is a lovely hostel, it's very cozy, it's basically an apartment with two large rooms converted into a hostel. The staff are so helpful to point out and suggest anything about the city or whatever you need. There is only one bathroom with the shower/toilet (just like an apartment) it wasn't a problem for me but might be a problem for some. It was so easy to meet the other travelers here and spend time getting to know them.

This hostel has a really home-like atmosphere. The staff is so friendly and helpful and remembered me each day by name. The showers are hot, the wifi works really well throughout the building, no lockers but they can put your valuables in a safe.

This is an awesome hostel. The "hang out" space is really great, so many people are actually using the space so it's so easy to meet other travelers. It's in a great location, very easy to get all around the city by foot, I never used public transportation at all. Wifi is good sometimes, bad sometimes, just depends. Hot showers most of the time. VERY friendly and accommodating staff that really makes you feel welcome. Cheap meals and beers in the Kick Ass Cafe. Great place to stay!

This is more like a budget hotel, not so much a hostel. Or maybe my experience was because I was in a private room. Anyway, the location is really great it's on the West End and right near plenty of restaurants and pubs. It's very quiet, not somewhere to meet people really. The WIFI basically never works so do not count on it.

I like the underbed lockers. In a great location, really close to Temple Bar area. Everything seemed clean! Helpful staff. Great value for low cost.
