L'Imbarcadero was clean, the location central but a little hard to find in a typically Venetian way. The dorms were spacious but the fact there were only two bathrooms and no separate toilets made strategic bathroom planning a necessity. The breakfast provided was, for me personally, disappointing as there were no options for breakfast that didn't involve highly processed white bread or biscuits/pastries, aside from the precious few oranges. Overall, very good value for money.
Steffi's was clean and the kitchen well stocked. When I had a problem staying in a dorm with someone who was very ill the staff were very kind and helpful in changing my reservation to a different room for the rest of the stay. The location is very convenient, just moments away from the main station and in close walking distance of supermarkets and public transport.
The staff were friendly and accomodating and the hostel was overall very clean with a few understandable exceptions such as the floor in the dorms. Excellent kitchen facilities, clean bathrooms and reliable, if slow, wifi. I would be happy to stay there again.
It was a short walk from king's cross st pancras, so very accessible on public transport. There were no lockers in the rooms and wifi was not included which is unusual in this day and age. Otherwise the breakfast was good and it was generally clean.
I would highly recommend paris namdemun to anyone wanting to stay more than one or two nights in paris. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent, the bathrooms are clean and there is a great atmosphere about the place. The single drawback is that it is slightly outside the city centre, but after the initial walk there, it is really not so far as it sounds. I look forward to coming back.
