The area where the hostel is located is ok and very central, but the hostel is in the last floor of the building and there's no elevator. Depending on your nationality, at checkin you will be asked to leave your passport or a valid document with photo as some kind of deposit. But that will be dependending on your nationality, what I consider is somehow discriminatory.
Excellent Hostel, very very clean. Really helpful staff, specially the guys who run the free pub crawl every night (Tom#1 and Tom#2). This two guys will take care of everything you need (boat, scooter, beach, party, tours, etc) and are always trying to make your stay as enjoyable and fun as possible. Very friendly atmosphere that will make it easy for you to meet a lot of interesting people.
Definitely one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. I had a reservation for one night and kept extending it everyday and stayed for 8 days, I really didnt want to leave. The Hostel is just by the beach, so you wake up and go downstairs and there you are enjoying the beautiful Adriatic Sea in the hostel's sunbeds. They also have more dorms across the street. The family that manages and lives in the hostel are really nice and HELPFUL, they will really take care of anything you need.
Really helpful staff. Different to almost other hotels in town, Vila Veselova is not located right in the city center. Anyway its just a 5 minute walk to get there and all the good things of the hostel make those extra 5 minutes walking worth. I would definitely come back again.
