fantastic hostel with excellent staff, were always there to help. The hostel was clean, had a great atmosphere and communal space. would highly recommend this hostel to anyone staying in zadar. they also set out day trips which were very helpful, good value for money and great for meeting other people in the hostel. the staff made the stay great and even took us for a midnight swim in the sea. the hostel is within walking distance from the coast and the old town. will definitely go back!
owner was not there on arrival leaving a note on the door, obviously common practice, meaning we had to do costly international call. Hostel tiny-no common space. Many plug sockets were unusable-hanging dangerously out of wall. no age limit on this hostel. Being two young girls felt uncomfortable in a room of 50 year old bikers despite other similar rooms being empty. Hostel looks nothing like the pictures. Says it has a hot tub, bar, tv and games, computer other facilities that are untrue
Owner very helpful at all hours. Everything clean. Nearby supermarket. Quiet hostel despite no curfew. Only bad thing I would say is kitchen is very small and is quite a long walk from town centre and attractions.
Campsite was busy and is great for day trips into venice. Good bar facilities. Music was played loud until late which is okay if your used to City living like us. We cancelled our second night in advance due to time constraints yet they upgraded us to a better room. Staff very helpful. Only bad thing is internet is expensive and paid for by the hour making it impossible to look up quick train times for your departure if you are travelling like we were.
The bar was closed and there was no wifi. Showers were unclean. Tents are situated on the slope with poorly maintained stairways or just a grass hill to reach them so slipping is hard to avoid. the park was empty and was poorly at night time making it difficult to get back to your tent. Would not recommend staying here at all.
