No lockers in the rooms for ur passport and valuables, which always makes me a bit uneasy, but the staff did let me keep some things in the reception office. Atmosphere wasn't the best as it was a bit empty when I was there... but it looks like a really fun hostel if u were to stay when its busy. And the staff were great and everything is nice and clean with comfy beds. I'll definitely try to stay here for stampede this year.
Great hostel with awesome facilities. Beds a bit hard but normal for south east asia. Great showers and everything so clean. Not the best atmosphere when we were there but would probably be busier in high season. Only real con is the communal room with computers and TV is like an oven!! The air con they have in there just doesnt work and there's no windows or anything.
Pros: the one lady at reception that speaks English is very helpful. Drinking water refills are 2 baht each... basically free. B'fast is decent. Cons: Beds are rock hard!!! And I'm used to roughing it. Walk into town is decent even with the short cut, and if it rains then you can't go that way (unless you want to be covered in mud), so its a good half hour walk.
Awesome hostel! Decent facilities, nice and clean, walking distance to old town and all the action. Fantastic staff! Kunthara was amazingly helpful, helped us book an overnight trek, stored our bags overnight for us and rang the people who did the trek to make sure we'd get back in time for our bus to Pai (which she also booked). On top of that she told us all the best places to see and to party. She was the best and i'd definitely stay here again. Pay the extra for a deluxe room/dorm (aircon!!)
Great hostel, good facilities, very clean, very helpful staff, free bfast. Not quite walking distance from Kho Sahn Rd, etc. but very cheap in a Tuk Tuk. Only real downfall was that it was very quiet with not much atmosphere or opportunity to meet other travellers. We were there in off season so it's probably better in high season... altho still doesn't really strike me as a party hostel. If you want that, then try closer to Kho Sahn Rd.
Comfy bed to lay your head, in a good location near the clubs and reasonably priced for Ibiza (also the only place with dorms that I could find close to all the action). Only downfall was no air con in the dorm rooms and it is hot, especially if you are trying to sleep during the day.
Not a party hotel/hostel, but u can still meet ppl if ur outgoing. There is nothing they need to improve on though it was a great place to stay. Everything was topnotch.
Only bad thing was that the tents don't even have a fan or anything so they get very hot. Not like I slept much the whole time anyway, haha. The beds also weren't very comfortable. But if you're coming to party and make new friends this is an EPIC place to stay, and very cheap!
Beds are comfy enough but the dorms are very basic, as are the shower and toilet facilities. Great place to stay if you want to party, you will definitely meet fun people and the atmosphere is amazing!
