No locks on the doors felt very unsafe. Bathroom was dirty and had flies in it.
The campsite is very far out of the centre of Rome. It is a bus a train and a metro away. The train takes an hour which is a pain. The facilities are so good here. A fully functioning restaurant and bar a usual mini market and the showers and toilets are clean. The staff seem friendly although there are a couple that seemed like they did not care about you. Only annoyance being when you go to the pool you have to wear a cap and pay €2 for it.
Staff unwelcoming and didn't make us feel welcome. The facilities are unsanitary with flies and cobwebs in the shower block. The tents that you can rent smell fusty, incredibly old and have rips in the windows and doors. Also the board that forms the base of the tent is not big enough for the beds on top so beds keep falling off the side.
Staff were absolutely vile. Extremely unfriendly didn't want to help or make us feel welcome. Blunt one word answers to our questions. Where the hostel is based is in a tiny little village where there are only a few shops within close vicinity of the establishment.
The staff were not welcoming at all. Seemed as though they did not care and could not help us with any queries we had. The shared bathroom offered a little awkwardness as the shower door was see through so people could see in if they wanted to.
