Great, simple bed and breakfast 5 minutes walk from San Marco's. Sevag even came to find me at 11pm at the ferry terminal after my train was delayed by nearly 2 hours. A nice change from hostels and considering the price and location it's a fantastic option. It is very small however so as a solo traveller I didn't meet anyone as I never actually saw anyone - it is a B

Nice little hostel in the heart of beautiful Fussen. About a 10 minute walk from the train station (and everything really), directions provided were very simple to follow. Staff were very friendly and the beds and bathrooms were very clean. Nice little common room with a communal laptop as well as a kitchen. Good stable wifi. The breakfast at an extra cost was nice and convenient. I'd recommended renting a bike near the train station and cycling around the amazing scenery - so much to see!

About a 10 minute walk to Wien Westbanhof station and u-bahn which is only 2-4 stops to anywhere you'd want to go. Beds and bathrooms were clean. Staff were very helpful. Has about 5 washing machines and dryers which is great, though there are 7 floors worth of people staying here. Bar, outside area and pool table made it easy to meet people. Recommended.

Only stayed a night and only used my bed from 7am to 10am until checkout, couldn't fault what little I saw. Cleans beds and bathrooms. About a 10 minute walk to the underground. Staff (apart from the owner) were very new to the city so were unhelpful in some respects, only a matter of time though.

Fantastic intimate hostel with a small but amazing staff. This place does everything right as a hostel for the solo traveller, mainly due to the efforts of the awesome guys running the place. Close to trams and the underground and right next to the National Museum so it's great for navigation. Highly recommended hostel! Also ask about the caving at the front desk, I absolutely loved it!

To be honest I was barely at the hostel. The staff had some great recommendations and the beds were clean as well as the bathrooms. Everyone I spoke to loved it as the staff organised something every, I was just never there for it! About a 5 minute walk to the tram stop and an awesome 24 hour burger shop is even closer.

Nice outdoor area combined with the awesome chick behind the counter make for a great social environment. Clean beds and bathrooms. 10 minute walk to the red light district and its bars as wel as another area with some hip bars and restaurants. About a 15 minute walk from the nearest station which is a little inconvenient. Not sure if it was the room or a tenant, but my dorm had a very strong odour to it. Tenants were cycled, but the smell remained... maybe it was me?

International Budget Hostel

Great location next to the bar district, but it's very quiet. Smoking room is a good place to watch the canal and meet people - fantastic as a solo traveller. Beds and bathrooms were clean. Noise however was a major issue. The hostel wakes the entire room at 9 if at least one person is checking out as a reminder. The stairs creak incredibly loudly and the door locks don't disengage when you leave the room so the doors are constantly slammed shut against the locks. Recommended, but frustrating.

Fantastic location and a nice clean hostel. The tram stop is about 2 minutes walk away and links to both major stations and wherever you'd want to go. Friendly staff with good advice. Only complaint was the hostel was empty (12 people split over 12 rooms) and as a solo traveller I didn't meet anyone - though I did get a 4 bed dorm to myself for 3 nights.
