Place was very warm and homely. The staff didn't speak much English but they tried their best which is more than I could have asked for. Rooms were neat and quite large. Mine had a balcony w a view.
We had a comfortable stay here as we were a group of three in a four person room (we had booked a 6 person room). The wifi wasn't working above the first floor.
Over all I enjoyed myself. The only thing that bothered me a little was that none of the facilities in the morning opened until 8am and then closed again at 10.30pm. On the mornings we had decided to depart at 7.30am breakfast and lunch were all still locked up.
Very family friendly environment, a great place for a quiet night sleep
Friendly service that were totally helpful in letting us know when to go where to discover the best of Montreal in the short space of time we were staying. Facilities for those of us on a budget were fab but it was also just a short walk from all kinds of restraunts and good coffee (1.5 blocks straight up Rue MacKay). Mix of ages in the hostel too.
